Everything high at 1920x1080 is getting me around 40fps on my GTX580. Ultra made the game stutter like a bitch until I dropped everything to high and then restarted the game. Been working great since.

I'd personally play a game at full glory running sub-60fps, instead of 60fps with some options turned low or off. It's a matter of preference obviously.

The one using the Steam006 uplay launcher works 100%

Watch_Dogs.Deluxe.Edition-SC

I saw that on a private torrent site I frequent. Haven't downloaded it since I'm not at home but the nfo claims all you do is paste crack over and play, which makes it sound like it doesn't need the fake Uplay account method.

Can't confirm if it really works or not, though.

Fiddled with my BIOS settings - turns out Turbo was turned on

Getting between 40-60 fps now, all High settings, but I turned textures down to High, I have a 3Gb card but the Ultra setting is what is causing a lot of the stuttering.

Still... not 60fps like I would expect.

And I HATE the very odd third person angle

It depends on the system and the distance from TV, I guess. I tried replaying Darkness on PS3 and it was awful... BUT! That's mostly because the PS3 port was terrible Laughing Fable Anniversary and Fable 2 were hard to acclimatise to again but I managed it, somehow Very Happy FFXIII/XIII-2 judders like crazy though Sad

well i ll admit that ubisoft games are technically playable even at 20 fps thanks to the input delay and general awesome button gameplay.

but cmon, a hyper responsive fighting game like street fighter or a dmc/bayonetta game below 60 fps?
that just doesnt work.

Chased some guy in a car, frame rate kept dropping to 12, always 12.

I hit so many objects because I couldn't control the car properly with the constant framedrops. Laughing

So for now only way to try this game is having uplay launched with some random account created ? that doesnt feel "safe" or am I wrong ?

About this 30 fps thing, I always tried to tune games to have them run at 55-60fps but with rather shitty PC it isnt easy so with last two AC games I just locked them to 30fps and raise all setting to make it look better, it wasnt bad to play to be honest, pretty nice, and ten times more comfortable than having the game to jump between 35-60 fps all the damn time

Cool. I still use a GTX 580 on my desktop. For my laptop, I use a GTX 660m.

Hehe agreed. It all depends on the genre. I can tolerate <60fps with RPGs, strategy games or one-button-awesome titles, but when it comes to specific genres like driving games, shooters, sports and probably fighting games too even if they're not my cup of tea, I feel like 60fps are mandatory. I'm willing to sacrifice most of the options/details in order to maintain a stable framerate.

Obviously, doesn't run great here either (drops to the low 20s all the time on ultra). Tried dropping textures to high, didn't fix it (although the drops were less severe, only the low 40s Razz). Daytime looks absolutely terrible and for some reason the texture quality is extremely inconsistent at both high and ultra. Bit of a shame.

And the mouse control Sad

Good thing I wasn't planning on playing it yet anyway Smile

100% on all four CPU cores, 3570@4.5

My drops are CPU bound.

Grats, programmers, grats!

I could live with the somewhat lower frames, but fuck your game for having the shittiest mouse controls ever!

Guyver wrote:

No, its the game... This crack is maybe the closest one to original game, by means of running the game.

After more time testing today conclusion is this - game is shit . Optimization - zero, graphics - outdated, gameplay - boring, campaigh - meh..., driving - Vomit .

Sleeping Dogs was a masterpiece compared to this... And mantioning this "game" and GTA in one sentence is... Laughing .

Does V-Sync lock the game to 30fps like most other Ubisoft games ?

I'm assuming the answer is yes, May have to use D3DO like with AC IV Black Flag if that's the case

Just use Vsync set to 1, not 2.

....and for AC4, the is fixes which improved fps and vsync drastically, without any external programs http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Assassin's_Creed_4:_Black_Flag .Also, nvidia users is better to use driver vsync set to ADAPTIVE.
