Is it even worth switching to non uplay crack? I mean if having uplay running in offline mode doesn't bother me

What the fuck, every time I'm in a car the frame drops become worse, I'm talking constant drops to 2-5.
Every time I have to chase someone or escape it turns into a slideshow. Ridiculous.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

It's a problem most people are having, don't know your system specs but even those exceeding them have the issue. Dropping textures from ultra to high removes 99% of those stutters.

Thanks for the folder location.
I wish developers conformed to one location, my documents, my saved games, local, roaming, public etc, just annoying sometimes

Had that when I played around with vsync and buffer settings for testing purposes.
Having both at 1 frame now I'm experiencing no issues.
Not sure what I had it at when my FPS dropped to slideshow levels but it was definitely related to those settings.
Now of course it could have been a completely different issue in my case, but give it a shot :-)

Are you completely sure about this? I've tried a couple times to shoot them in their legs and the message is allways "Killed"

I just tried this and it worked fine.
Shot like 10 enemies in the knee, message says "neutralized" instead of "killed" .
They drop their weapon, writhe in pain a bit and then stop moving like they're dead.
Took 2 or 3 shots with my silenced pistol.

I don't have huge fps drops while driving like some humpers here , just noticeable drops, but when I was messing with vsync it looked like the game actually ran smoother with vsync disabled.I had it set to1 frame.

Yeah it's smoother.. but the screen tearing is horrible at times without it enabled, at least for me, so I got no choice :-(
Fucked either way.

@SaberBlade83
Maybe it was NPC
I was invaded once by NPC.. It was sort of an invasion tutorial I think.

I've also been invaded by an NPC, well I think it was and considering I had uplay offline and the game blocked in my firewall I'm guessing it's just npc's

i dont get it, most people complain that the game is very repetitive and yet turn off the online invasions and mplayer aspects, wouldnt it be less predictable and more fun if you had all these on?

@The_Zeel maybe they have another take on what would be non repetitive gameplay?
or
maybe they don't like being interrupted and screwed over in the middle of a cop chase lol
Multiplayer seems to be kinda limited compared even to dark souls and doesn't sound interesting to me tbh , It could have been so much more..

Started this today as i finally have time and just roaming around. It looks great. Just walking around in rain is great.
Funny enough now as oppose to two days before when i just tried it, it now runs stable 30 with vsync, high textures and ultra settings. No stuttering or anything. No drops. If i will encounter any drops i will jusy lower shadows and lod to high as those are main offenders here
Btw. Temporal smaa is best right? What is it actually?
Edit. Rain seems to be missing something. Raindrops are not hitting the ground

i am not saying its gonna make the game less repetitive, but atleast its *something*,
so i dont see the whole whining about having to disable the online component on every restart, when you could just leave it on.

Hm apparently there's quite a huge "leak" going on after prolonged playtime. Even on 6gb vram cards with textures on high it fills it up in time and crashes / stutters.
Really hope they're gonna fix their shit >.<

You might be one of the lucky ones then, dno what to say.
People with 4770k's / 780ti's etc are having this so :S
Are you using the steam0006? 3dm? Or actual uplay bought game?
