This removed pretty much 90% of my stuttering. |
This works an absolute treat for me, thanks.
Using the new crack as well, the game is running at a near constant 30 fps with no stuttering, even when driving. not bad for my ancient rig (Q6600 @ 3.6 + a 670).
Getting into the game now its running well, quite enjoying it.

If this game is a precursor of things to come then looks like ill be getting all of my releases on PC again until i get a PS4 or XBONE. I was looking forward to playing this on PS3 and when i did....oh my.....how bad it looked. Luckily i tried the PC version first.

Isn't part of being a good hacker defined by how good you are at masking yourself, covering your digital footsteps, traces and actions? You wouldn't last long without that skill.
After the tenth time of being player invaded you'd think the main character would try to set up his phone differently or try out different ways of masking himself. At that point the fiction becomes embarrassing knowing how elite Aiden is supposed to be.

So this awesome hacker is incapable of stealing cars any other way than breaking the window ? "nowadays everything is running on some chip" so he cant hack the chip in car to unlock the doors and disable other security instead he smashes it like a common 16 year old juvenile idiot that thinks stealing car is fun ?

I don't typically post on here/anywhere, but this fiasco has me feeling compelled to do so.
Holy dickshitting Jesus, this game is absolutely horrible... Even with all the fixes I've seen on this thread so far, it's still a jittery, laggy, hideous mess that makes me feel like my mouse is being used to control a robotic arm that's being used to control a gamepad.
I'm getting kinda sick of these companies blowing 98% of their budget on marketing and bullshots and then spending 0 money or effort on actually making a quality video game. Slapping an "ALPHA BUILD: SUBJECT TO CHANGE" message on your built-for-the-press pre-render does not in-game footage make.
Re-texturing models from Assassin's Creed 3 is not "next-gen". You don't release FIVE collector's editions for a brand new IP, especially when it's just plain bad. You don't reduce the core concept of the game to a single button press (Press Q to route the DARPA packets to the inturwebnet gateway TCP/IP router modem algorithm sequence!). You don't give the guy who's apparently never even sat in a motor vehicle the job of designing the game's driving mechanics. You don't portray people as being so retarded that they shriek their crimes into their phones as police officers walk directly through their line-of-sight ("SO THEN I SHOT HIM IN THE DICK, RAPED HIS CAT AND SET HIS DAUGHTER ON FIRE FOR ALLAH! GOOD MORNING OFFICER! I WAS JUST DISCUSSING THE PLETHORA OF VIOLENT SEX CRIMES I'VE COMMITTED IN THE PAST 48-HOURS TO THIS GOOD FRIEND OF MINE OVER THIS PHONE THAT CERTAINLY ISN'T BEING MONITORED BY ANY SORT OF LAW ENFORCEMENT AND/OR NATIONAL SECURITY AGENCY!")
Spider Tank's awesome, though. Why didn't they just make an entire Spider Tank game...?

Enemies in this game are ridiculous, they're either braindead or have a sixth sense that allows them to know where you are at any given moment, and throw a grenade with ridiculous precision that will land at your feet even when you're inside a building, behind a desk, and they're outside with no way of seeing you.
I guess their grenades travel through fucking wormholes. Such bullshit.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

Played some more... its kinda boring. Not feeling need to do ANY side activities and main campaign is okeish sof ar.
graphics are fantastic tho. A bit uninspired and rain doesn't look like what I expected. Still gta IV have best open world rain imo.
but then I didn't expected much and I hated every ac game after excellent brotherhood.
I dont think WD is as bad as people say. Campaign seems worth playing (at least 2 hours in)

I dont think WD is as bad as people say. Campaign seems worth playing (at least 2 hours in) | If WD was marketed as being what it is instead of flooding the internet with bullshots, I wouldn't be quite so upset. I think it's kinda bullshit that we're supposed to just take it for granted that these companies are lying to us, so we should expect that pretty much everything they show us before release is nowhere near what the game's going to actually look and play like. If they didn't specifically state that this game is what "defines next-gen" then there wouldn't be so much of a problem (And if this game is what "defines" next-gen, then I suppose we've got a few more years of disappointment coming). I think it would be easier to enjoy the game for what it is if it were made by an indie start-up and not one of the biggest juggernauts in the game industry and backed by such an absurdly aggressive marketing campaign. You'd figure Ubisoft would have learned from that whole Aliens: Colonial Marines fiasco.

Has anyone played the poker minigame? Sometimes you get a pop-up screen with the opponents' cards when using the camera, sometimes you don't - is it just random or do you need to do something to trigger that?
