im using it atm, which constitutes one device. download is kinda slow too... 255kb from the server (mind you its on the other side of the world to me, so that's expected)

True but the PR dick heads just ruin potentially good games - this is a case-in-point. Wasteland 2 is a good example of why publishers are dangerous - they claim something no longer deserves to be made even if there's tens of thousands of people shouting otherwise. They want a gimmick instead of a solid gameplay experience and that's why so many games have a good idea but weak and shallow execution. Even games like Prototype could have been so much more than what they ended up being.

I'm trying the reloaded release now. it does seem much snappier so far. not jittery while playing. Maybe there was something cracked incorrectly with other release(s)?

I don't know for sure but I think the Steam006 patch is messing only with UNotPlay and the game is running "as it is" so if thats the case we can't talk about "bad crack".

the 'No uplay crack' made things run at a crawl for me. Just download the reloaded crack only and copy the files to your /bin directory and it works regardless of which release you have.

Nevermind apparently..

Quote:
f you select the 3GB Ultra texture option with a 2GB GPU, yes, there will definitely be stuttering, because the game has to constantly load and unload textures. For people who do have sufficient VRAM or the correct option selected, stuttering appears to be coming from other sources. However, the sample size of people running on the new driver with a legit copy of the game and the day 1 patch is basically zero, so we can't draw any conclusions as of yet.

the first release uses a emulation code for U-play that pinged the fake emu so much its slowed the processes ...

You can disconnect from the VPN after you have started the download and it will continue downloading with your own connection Smile

Anyone got the 'Indian' edition from Origin that can activate. Tried like 4/5 VPN tools, giving me varying unlocktimes, flyvpn gives me the text 'reserved' and no time, and no option to preload.

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

The game definitely seems to be quite medicore. Probably fun for some hours but then it could be boring as hell.

I will grab steam version from Amazon sometimes in the future but for now I would barely play it anyway. (sold my Uplay version which came with my previous GPU)

It doesn't matter where you download it from, the virus itself is in exe. You just have download it from a reliable resource that's all. Torrent or not, doesn't make a difference.

You better get started playing the story then, if you want to finish it before you actually get bored. Dunno if the story is even worth it for most, but yeh.. It stays a game with story so you have todo that if you want to legit unlock stuff.

Steam users: deluxe content not available? Steam says installed, but don't see anything in-game. Sad

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
