I never had a single issue with my 660Ti. Now with the R9 290 I am greatly disappointed. Before the 660Ti I had 6850 and it was awesome, never had any problems with it too but I guess AMD don't give a fuck about their high end class GPUs.

its about new and waiting for drivers, its always been this way you are running a top end release card and expect it to be perfect with drivers out the box.. not going to happen.
This is always happening with new release games, but guess what the game has been in development a long time prob before even the 290 was out right? Well there is the answer then.

What kind of issues? 290 is an amazing card, tried different 3 of them and everything is working flawlessly.

From the previous page it seems to be that flash player issue that's appearing again, disabling hardware acceleration in Flash should solve it and on a modern CPU I don't think it would do much anyway.
(Less likely to happen but still can happen when using HTML5 video playback.)

Hmm, well I know AMD has had issues with hardware accelerated video playback with Flash (And at times HTML5) but I guess there are some other issues that need to be fixed as well in addition to that problem.
(Must be a rarer problem that happens on certain configurations - which tends to suck for those affected since it can be a long wait for a fix to come out - but that's only something the AMD engineers would know about.)

so could anyone be more specific of how to import my last saves to the reloaded release?
I am lost at the moment where I have to only cut a number of bytes from a file.
Other than that I think I can manage. Many thanks !

if you use nvidia or amd card on the same windows install after using the other brand. make sure to use proper driver uninstall software ( like DDU ) in safe mode before switching cards.
i had issues between switching from one AMD ( 6950 ) to the other AMD ( 7870 ) for a long time till i used driver uninstall and then magicly all my problems went away.

@Amadeus - you read this wrong. They have fixed 90 degrees turns, but haven't cleaned up the tracks. That's why you can still see them in the final release.

Hmmm What trojans?,i guess the typical Crack Trojans that doesn't infects much at all..like a firefox extension called "Easy youtube video downloader express" wich has a trojan (if eliminated the extension dies) but it hasn't given me any trouble.. Unless there's a better extension with MP4 HD + MP3 downloader without trojans?
Anyways,i've installed the game, ran it until the "Item bitchslap" moment, no "winlogin.exe" (bitcoin virus) in the task manager, no "OaPja" folder in C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming
...Guess i'm fine?..Running the game on "High", ultra has some performance issues, High doesn't,for now...

The fact being that the track is still there? No worries, it doesn't "guide" anyone away from you being the usual Ubi fanboy.

GTA IV is interesting as long as you stick to the main story. Besides that there's nothing to do. You have 1m and you don't have what to you spend it on.. The game really lacked customization too. For me SR 1 and SR2 are way superior games in therm of side activities and customization and freedom I may say. In GTA IV you shot 2-3 bullets in the air hitting nobody - 2 stars instant. In SR you are THE LAW, and that what the games are about - to have fun, not to be more realistic than the real life like GTA IV is.
