I'm switching from the 3DM release to the RELOADED one, how can i save all of my data and savegames to as to re-utilize them with the latter release?

It's a typical Nvidia move, really.
On the other hand, ATI/AMD have only got themselves to blame - their drivers are legendarily shitty with features always being broken. My HD 7850 always suffered from some bug in the main Windows drivers - screen scaling being broken for example.
Then you had the huuuuge range of old games being hopelessly broken. As a retro gamer, this was very painful and unforgivable. NVIDIA has broken games as well but if NVIDIA broke 10-15 year old games, AMD broke 5-10 year old games.
Next to that, AMD had SERIOUS issues with shadows in many games. A relatively old game like NWN2 would stutter like mad if I dared to use high shadows - unforgivable!
All this has driven people away from AMD despite their cards being cheaper on paper compared to their performance. In reality, their cards and software just aren't as reliable. I never had a Nvidia card give up on me yet I had two ATI's die and my HD 7850 came out of the box with serious overheating issues due to bad ATI drivers not sufficiently powering up the fans when needed, a MASSIVE bug that required third party hacks to fix. UN. FOR. GIV. ABLE. |
Nvidia are releasing new driver every week or two. AMD are doing the same but every MONTH or two... |

What now..nvidia releases beta driver once 2 months on average if you are lucky, I dunno how bad amd driver support is, but nvidia drivers are far from good or quick. And i had nvidia for last 10+ years, my r9 290 should arrive tomorrow, so I might agree with you in month or two, but currently I cant.
If you truly want to know how bad nvidia driver support is, get 2x nvidia cards and run sli.
Monopoly isnt good, cant figure out why are you cheering for nvidia even if you own nvidia cards.

As for the AMD vs nVidia cards . not sure about the high end like the 290x but here my aging 6950 2gb perform decently. I get a constant 30-35 ish FPS @ 1080p with temporal SMAA , textures to High , details to high , Shadows and Reflection to medium , shader to high and water to high. Motion Blur and Dept of Field @ ON. I use V-Sync 1 setting. V-Sync 2 locks at 30 FPS but it produce some weird stuttering which is annoying.
Yes it does dip in the 25-30ish range once in a while but overall it runs better than i expected on my now almost 4 years old PC. Not 60FPS but totally playable and with better IQ than the PS4 version so i'm satisfied.
Btw i tested 900p and i can now understand why some think that the consoles versions don't look that much better than GTA V, It really does look a lot like GTA V at that resolution. 1080p is quite the improvement over 900p in this game. Like it's pretty drastic visually

Download XVI32, open your 1.save with it (located in WATCH_DOGS\bin\ directory). Press Edit->Block <n> chars, select type Decimal and type value 551. Press Ctrl-D to delete selected blocks, save as Save001.sav to C:\ProgramData\Orbit\274\RLD!\
Then do exactly the same for 2.save, just change the final filename to Save002.sav

ok so i got the legit version up and running, AU unlock on steam, and the performance is exactly the same as the yarr version, stutter is still there with the new nvidia driver, no "day 1 patch" to be seen yet
sidenote: to force sweetfx through radeonpro you need to run radeonpro as admin because appearantly steam runs games as admin by default in w8.1 for some reason otherwise it wont recognize the process

I have a strong "been there, done that" feeling... Ubisofts own ideas and theme is so much overused that it could quickly become boring and even annoying. Camera is claustrophobic, interface consolish. Ill better wait for some reviews before i spend more time with this smartphone gta...

I tried the original leak, the reloaded version and the "hotfixed" reloaded version.
No change performance-wise whatsoever.

I updated to the new driver and actually lost 10 fps, went from 65 fps to 55 constant. Evga 680 card, 4770K @4.2 16 gig 2133.
I never had any stutter issues before , don't now either but fraps shows a drop for sure in fps.I'm using the original leak , not the steam006 one but the other one.

both games where the same ... first one was from steam servers its the digital version , the other RLD is from original DVDs that you can buy from store = RETAIL STORE VERSION
the diff is not in its DLC but , but in its languages , the steam version only had ENG , RLD has 35 languages in it !!!!!!! those are those 10 gigs more

Somewhere inbetween. It didn't gloriously disprove the naysayers like Deus Ex but it isn't the complete borefest with an identity crisis that was DNF.
Watch Dogs is simply acceptable. It does its job as an open world game but it doesn't bring anything to the table. The hacking is trivial because, in Ubisoft's trademark style, it is simplified to a single button so it may as well be a "press E to use" but with longer range.
