From what I've tested in this game so far before it ran at ~38 FPS, now it's ~45 FPS.
(Settings are about as high as possible with config tweaks minus SSAA and Temporal SMAA is used for normal AA instead of MSAA.)
(Temporal SMAA works well enough for me compared to MSAA 2x and the SSAA config tweak apparently messes with the water shader somewhat according to that GeForce.com guide but it's also simply too demanding for my GPU.)

Just wait a couple of months and you'll be able to pick this up from keystores for around that price, I reckon. |

I believe you are right, BUT in a couple of months I believe my interest for this game will be totally faded.

well the game aint that bad once you get the online part, its just the stutter that puts me off right now the rest is ok or well actually a step above ok, im having fun atleast wich i believe is the point

You won't see Steam keys for Ubisoft games ever. I think there was only one time in history that Amazon offered Steam keys for AC3, but that's it. The game is available on Steam, but if you want a Steam key, you have to buy it on Steam.
