That's it, I am done. The game runs flawlessly with the latest drivers but I realized there's nothing to do in it. The main missions are boring as shit, I already unlocked all towers and the convoy missions are very easy - plant an IED, wait for the target to drive over - boom, gg. The rest of the activities are boring. Gang Hideout was fun too but it seemed like poor man's SC, yeah I'll rather play some missions in Cocklist or Cockviction. I feel bad for everyone who spent money on this game.

Yeah, the game is basically another Far Cry 3. Lots of potential, but most of it wasted. But like in FC3, I find it to be very immersive, mainly because of the very well designed world. But at the same time I know that's not meant to last, and it will probably become very repetitive and predictable soon, just like FC3 did.
The only thing that still manages to differentiate this one is the online component, which so far I have to say, is very effective and fun to play, but that ultimately may turn out as not being enough, of course.

Lol IED's ? You stupid lazy terrorist, just use the grenade launcher...
I'll show you how to take care of the tru next gen AI 
Every convoy mission or chase & kill fleeing enemy scenarios, I equip my grenade launcher, get an extremely fast car or a bike, drive an alternate route to intercept target somewhere, get down quickly blast the cars away, BOOM!
mission over.  brb never have to use guns.
Big open yard missions where you have infiltrate, there are some lazer snipers and guards, I press x to hack the gate, walk in like a boss start sniping away the far off targets, then quickly run back out of the gate ...NO ALARM, NO PANIC
Then just get back in shoot couple of enemies, go back outside, do this until only the last couple of guys remain...u can then get really creative pull of that truly nextgen melee kill or hack the grenades via wifi and make them asssplode
This is all on realistic difficulty ... I swear... try it!

Most of the missions are to wipe them all, no survivors. I've encountered just 1 or 2 where I had to knock out the HVT.

Not always. The last 5 I did I had to eliminate all bad guys and that was it

Hmm, installed WD, hotix and game still wants me to use Uplay.
Tried:

Well, I didn't run this way with not hofixed version, so maybe it would work for me then.
But every time I run \WATCH_DOGS\bin\watch_dogs.exe Uplay starts.

did you copied all cracked files from hotfix? |
I've used revouninstaller to clear instaltion with registry and all files, installed again, run game, worked. Put hotfix and now works without uplay.

Heavy traffic since the game is now available worldwide.
Either it'll take a long time before you get logged in or it will time out and offer offline mode or it'll crash.
