I like this game. Granted, I only play it in short burts of 1-2 hours, but it's quite alright for an open world game. I don't know what most of you expected exactly, but I expected something similiar to Assassins Creed or Saints row, not GTA. And this I got.
And maybe Watch_Dogs 2 will be to Watch_Dogs what AC2 was to AC1, an all out improvement to every aspect of the game.
The world also is lovingly crafted, every scene looks very different and detailed, and it's a joy to roam around and go through back streets and listen to conversations. Sure, it's no GTAV, but Saints Row for instance felt a lot more like a simple copy/paste world job.

Hmh, you don't happen to have BF4? I bet you wouldn't have memory leak in that either. Got to try after reboot later, if it's same thing as on that, memory usage should be lower and leak gone on watch dogs as well. (and then it's not game related but directx or something else shared)

Okay, I need to know something before I buy this gaeeeem.
Multiplayer:
- can you play with friends? (invite / group etc.)
- is there a free roam mode in mp that you can play with your friends?
- is the mp fun at all?
That's what I'd like to know before I waste 30 Euros on this game :O

Naw, I give up on this.. foot traffic is absolutely fine but the instant you get into a car the game is just unplayable, constant freezing and stuttering. Another Ubifail and I doubt this will ever be fixed.

So:
Playing it on 680GTX that has 4GB memory, with MSI afterburner installed to monitor usages:
4 cpu cores each of them around 50 70 percent.
RAM around 5GB (8GB total)
GPU memory: 3,9 GB on ultra, lowering the textures to high makes it 3,5GB
Even on high textures with AA disabled, and some settings like shadows on high and LoD on normal with FPS locked to 30 in MSI afterburner, I get the stuttering. Even with the pagefile parameter.
(res:1080p)
(vsync on/2/off didnt matter etc.)
(latest drivers, win7 x64, antivirus off, no garbage optimizer stuff installed)
(pirated 3dm version)

try and change the crack, or delete the settings all together (which can be done by changing the crack too)

I already have the RLD version but im too lazy too reinstall it and use that one, and of course Im too lazy for the hex edit stuff/replaying the beginning part and I doubt the stutter will be gone with the RLD crack/edition.
And I still have Tranzistor, Killer Is dead and wolfenstein 2nd playthrough to finish and Murdered is also coming up.

It's really hit and miss on performance it seems.
I'm using a i5 3570k @ 4.6 nvidia 670 8 gig ram and everything on high with txaa at 4 and it runs fine. No massive frame rate drops and no stuttering whilst driving. My only gripe is Uplay keeps going down and getting the multiplayer to work is very random.

I'm on the same boat as you. I'll finish it sometime on PS3. I've started another playthrough of Alpha Protocol yesterday so W_D will be on pause for now.

Anyone was able to successfully play this online with Windows 8 or 8.1? I couldn't find any games except the mobile opponents which would eventually time out. Booting to Windows 7 fixed the issue and I played multiple games without problems. Returned back to 8.1 and can't connect again. I played few rounds today. Worked perfectly fine.
(Windows 8.1)
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

It's working flawlessly on my 760gtx rig ultra with no AA 1080p.
I had input lag with AA, but that might be the extra gpu frames setting, will try more.

So I played around while monitoring CPU and GPU usage.
The stuttering happens regardless of settings, just that it impacts min/max FPS.
So I set everything to medium, no AA and fullscreen. This makes my GPU's run at around 60% and my CPU has one of it's cores maxed while the rest are somewhere at 35-45%.
I guess I won't be playing this game for some time until they fix the performance issues.

Have people with the stuttering tried the disablepagefilecheck command?
My system stuttered like crazy when driving but this cured it.
Reposting this info in case anybody missed it.

Good thing gamesload didnt send me my key, they are going to refund all the pre order people...Now I have to wait 2 weeks till I get my money, then I can reorder the game elsewhere... AWESOME <3....
