Their character creation looks pretty good. The standard character creator in just about all MMOs consists of a shit ton of sliders. I predict everyone will soon switch to a Sims 4 style click on the body part to alter it.
I wonder what is the maximum titty size? I'm sure there will be a mod to increase that though.
Looks great to me. Fixes a lot of problems Sims 3 had. A lot of the tricks that was used to forced the game to allow certain things don't seem to be needed anymore.
I absolutely LOVE that walls have different heights now, it's so simple and so awesome at the same time. The new window placements too, again: such a simple change yet so effective, and adjustable house height (as well as what looked like three floors and an attic space!) just makes me all...
What i missed the most from 3 was a user mod in 2 that allowed wall mounted things to be placed vertically, not just horizontally. You could have a few shelves one above the other. I hope this thing won't be limited to windows and they can move beyond the one-item-per-wall-tile nonsense.
Finally I can create some epic bungalows and mansions.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
I take those are memories from when you played Sims Social on Facebook then? I remember those too "It takes 2 more friends in order to place this bed. Click here to invite friends now!"
Aye, it looks great. But maybe it's a bit too simply to create a building. It was always great to put a lot of effort in it and get something great. Now everyone can build something with a few clicks.
Yeahhhh, I'm not really seeing how that's a bad side. The Sims isn't a competitive game, there's no multiplayer, no building contests or awards - I see no reason whatsoever why one person shouldn't be given the tools to create something quicker and easier. If anything this will only improve the community

I'll be damned, this is looking much better than I had anticipated.
I'm wondering, where's the catch?! There must be something, hidden somewhere, that EA will implement in order to ruin all the fun...
Heh.. I'm waiting for the penny to drop as well ixi-kun. This is EA. This is Maxis. This is EAxis. I'm expecting a really nasty gut punch in the run up to the release

Hehe indeed, you never know 'till the very last moment! Them party poopers
So far, we know that it won't be "online Cloudonly" (very good), building mode seems improved/ there's more customization in general (good) and the core gameplay is still there (again, good).
I'm guessing the catch could be, that they're just planning an even more intensive DLC policy this time around, perhaps with microtransactions and the stuff that EA loves. But then again, from the perspective of a dirty pirate, this would not be a problem
Haha, yep! For legitimate players (and those buying CE boxsets ) the obvious storm of DLC and expansion packs that are coming will be immensely painful. For us filthy pirates? Download, extract, install, play \o/
Have they said much about actual gameplay? Are the jobs going to be rabbit hole type again or will it be more like the firefighter and ghost hunter from sims 3?

I like that they've made the faces and expressions less retarded, it was painfully bad in the previous 2 games.
I wish they would take a more realistic approach though, for each game it seems to be heading more and more into the fantasy direction. Real life drama can be exciting and funny without the "fantasy" stuff imo.

It'd just look old if they went for a realistic look and didn't push the hardware requirements, which is impossible considering a lot of their audience will be playing the game on crappy laptops.
