As far as reviews I usually use Gamerankings over metacritic, it currently has 82.88% for PS4 version, but Xbox 1 has 77% and PC version is 76% averages. Still no PS3/Xbox 360 being reported.
Well after so much negativity with the release of Watch Dogs, I think I had much lower expectations but was pleasantly surprised.
I only managed to play for 90 minutes but what I played didnt exactly disappoint me. Nice framerate, nice visuals and some ok but not amazing gameplay.
Felt very much like GTA. I can see how people complain about the 1 button hacking and I have to agree that not being able to shoot from vehicles is pretty annoying.
The Police chases were pretty fun and the water effects were impressive as during the chase I ended up on a boat
Although the visuals at night look good, I dont think they look too bad during the day.
I assume the servers were having problems as it kept telling me I was disconnected so I experience no multiplayer whatsoever :/
I dont think I played it enough to see how repetitive it is but I did a couple of the campaign missions. This is just my first impressions I guess but Ill be play it some more after work later today
online hacking is nice had a few people try to hack me - and hacked some others. its a nice short multiplayer action. haven't tried the other game modes yet.

It would seem where-ever I drive, they suddenly seem to scan in the area I am in. After a few minutes of frantically trying to avoid their scans, I end up getting caught - this time with a helicopter, which means I near insta-die.

There's a tutorial in mission three or so that explains the system in more detail.
First you build up notoriety by killing/hurting civilians, this will cause them to trigger a alarm (Call 911 sort of.) which you can (later on.) disrupt in various ways.
This will then trigger the ctScan over a area, seen as a yellow circle on the big city map.
You have to drive out of the area before the meter down with your notoriety fills up, this will happen pretty fast so if you fumble around trying to stop a vehicle you will likely get scanned, as above later on you'll have means to counter this.
Third (This is what begins in the last part of the intro mission.) policy will be notified to your location and will maintain pursuit for as long as you remain in their vision, they tend to be pretty aggressive and the cars they use are pretty fast so trying to outrun them will work best when using other abilities such as quickly switching traffic lights to cause a accident as you pass it or later on utilize other means to disable their vehicles.
When you break line of vision you get another circle on the mini map which is where the police will currently be searching for you, get out of this without being seen and a cooldown (30 seconds) is triggered where you have to be out of sight or the pursuit is back on.
Manage that and you successfully escape.
For the tutorial mission you basically drive away and avoid cop cars, if needed ditch the car in the garage for something faster (If you took it in the first place.) or get out of it and try to escape out of the pursuit area on foot, in the terrain or amongst houses and such it's easier to avoid patrol cars but you still have to take into account that you need to be out of the circle area that is being searched.
Again a tutorial will guide you through these gameplay elements during the first five or so missions in the first act, you'll also get access to all skills during this period which will help greatly depending on what you decide to focus on.
EDIT: Oh you took the blue "checkpoint driving" mission right next to the hotel?
(Follow the checkpoints within the time limit to build up pursuit and in the end reach the goal and then escape from the police.)
I gotta say the very first gameplay getting past the two cops in the stadium had me retrying it several times due to them seeing me. That was certainly more challenging than I expected!
Also I keep pressing triangle to hack during high speed pursuits and as the correct button is square, I keep leaping from the car which was both funny and results in instadeath! The more it happens the less it amusing it becomes however!

What I did was always drive to the sea and swim away. The cops and fixers can't do anything once you are about 100m from them. If you swim for about 1min they will give up and you have escaped. Also there are two missions later in the game that will fuck you up if you don't know how to escape the police quickly.

Fuck the haters. I played the game a couple more hours last night and really enjoy it. Its not got repetitive for me yet and I really like the stealthy approach to taking out the gang hideouts etc. Im primarily playing through the campaign missions and I had my first run in with Lucky Quinn, what a freaky guy with his big yellow teeth lol. Im intrigued by the skill tree which Im slowly building up and hoping to unlock some alternative methods to preventing the vehicle pursuits other than changing the traffic lights.
Combat and gunplay is pretty satisfying but the lack of shooting whilst driving is frustrating. Maybe it could be patched in at some point, if enough people complain. Maybe it was a conscious decision made by Ubisoft to keep the focus on hacking whilst driving. Chasing and ramming your pursuer as the only non-hacking method of stopping them is still certainly fun in my opinion. I really like the cockpit view for driving too with the slightly blurred look due to the dashboard being out of of focus. Nice touch.
Gonna play some later after work. Should keep me going until I get my hands on Murdered: Soul Suspect next week

I don't really understand. I come up with some facts and your only argument is this:

if some one is wondering about what is this game ... well its about Human Trafficking , BDSM sex slaves , Female trafficking , Organ trade .. its gets grim pretty fast in Act 2
the story was already showed in the trailer , here how it looks in real game
and i play without AA ,at lest with those settings i have constant 60 fps or more ... and it never dips , also use that registry fix that disables paging for this game and uses my 16gigs to its full to play stutter free [not recommended on PCs that have below 8 gigs of ram]
the story is a as follows : two hackers piggyback wifi signals and steal money , on one of those jobs they stole a thing they should not , a client list of Female Slaves ... not knowing what it is they life is being destroyed ... Aiden loses his niece ... he cannot forgive himself about it so he hires two fixers , one supplies him with tools/weapons/cars the other helps him in hack ...
story line is FANTASTIC ... you have this city that is controlled by a BLUME corporation that wants to control people by manipulation ... you have gangs, thief's , fixers that want to control the city ... and then human sex slave trade ...
if they would had a technical consultant that would help him streamline the story line of tech aspects, this game would have been a game of the yeah 2014 ... even with those technical glitches... thats HOW GOOD THE STORY IS IN THIS GAME
but well it went side ways and you have CSI LOGIC of DERP ... but some thing they do right like RFID CLONING
UBI SOFT are idiots for spoiling so much of the game, the less you saw the more happy you are now. The moral is, don't get on that fucking hype train!
