Freakin do'em in English, you keep promoting your stuff but fuck me if I understand anything.
I also don't really agree with the story scoring since the story was really good and so were the characters, definitely one of the better recent shooters, in that regard.
R7 2700x @4GHz / MSI B450 Tomahawk / beQuiet! Dark Rock 4 / 32GB @3000 MHz / MSI RTX 2060 Gaming Z / Samsung 850 EVO 250GB / Western Digital 1TB / Fractal Design Meshify C Dark / SuperFlower Leadex Gold 650W / DELL whatever 27 inch IPS
The story is well presented, with cut-scenes and all, but the script is kind of weak. Characters feel a bit forced to me, it´s like they wanted to cover several stereotypes just cause it´s cool to have variety. But that´s just my opinion.
teach her how to shoot, and she tells you about her "theory"
or did you walk around the HQ and listened to the conversations the characters had?
these actually made me like the characters and the script, besides the attention in detail and to animations when it came to to acting out the conversations too.
Afaik, Tekla only appears in the Fergus timeline, I played the other one
I did, the characters are likable and the conversations you have with are indeed pleasant, but they still feel a bit unnatural to me. As for the script, I was referring mostly to the story itself. Didnt like the ending much either.
I didn't even know that this was developed by ex-Starbreeze guys until a few days ago. After Syndicate, I thought Starbreeze had been castrated by EA and will continue to make uninteresting games for all eternity.
Seeing how the spirit of Riddick and The Darkness lives on in this game warms my heart
I have to say I didn't think much of this game when it was announced, replacing the occult themes with robots but this is a really good game. I almost feel bad for using the iso demo. The story, the characters, the way levels are all really well designed....well that lady in the wheelchair just kinda popped up and I don't recall meeting her earlier. I also regret not saving the scottish guy, we need more brits in this game.
"Ubersharpening" Not quite sure what's causing that but I'll have to go through the various tweaks I've done to find out why it's so pronounced.
Finished it, Deathshead ("TotenKopf") was a fun guy, liked the reference to a certain other game too.
But as usual the ending is left open for interpretation or rather a eventual sequel or DLC.
Spoiler:
Miss Nazi 1960 - whatever her name was again - didn't take too kindly to killing her somewhat odd boyfriend.
Gotta love how B.J gets stabbed, shot and otherwise beaten up and still somehow survives, even at the end he's not entirely dead compared to what happened to grandpa suicide-bomber.
in the beginning of the game you can remove helmets from dead Krauts heads to collect as armor.
is there a way to do this later on?
shooting and stabbing dosnt do the job anymore (and i thought thats the answer to every problem in life)
Certain enemies have armored parts you can shoot off and then collect as armor.
(Robotic enemies in particular but also others like those dogs and the Ubersoldaten.)
Of course later on in the game armored vests (+50) and metal armored vests (+100) armor become more common.
I even found one of those vests in the plane at the start of the game in a hidden compartment down in the cargo hold, wonder what else I might have missed.
