I think it'd be both.
But French would be 2.0 rather than 5.1
It'll have French subs for sure.
Not sure about the audio.
Most likley just a 2.0

the actual retail dvd doesn't have french, only spanish

About Hitman: Movie (2007)
Vin Diesel is a hardcore gamer, and absolutely loves the Hitman series. For that reason I have faith that he wont destroy the movie.

Well .. the only R1 release seems to be American, which is why there is a Spanish track. Check amazon.ca, and it calls this one an import.
