its fucking expensive, but what is there, pisses and shits all over every single stealth game released in current and last gen, while only being an alpha demo of phantom pain. the enemy ai alone is fucking amazing on hard mode, last time i saw something comparable was in the original fear on pc. holy shit, that game in its full form is gonna be a masterpiece.
then try Blacklist ... that game just reinvented AI in Splinter Cell ... heck when i played it and for fun and giggles hidden in dark ... one guy said "hey what are those 3 green lights there in the DARK" i was like shit got REAL ... they see my goggles glare, oh Fuck
yea i liked blacklist alot, finished campaign and coop modes, alot of fun and immensely improved ai and gameplay after that turd conviction.
the ai in ground zeroes goes even a step further, for example:
a guard catches a glance of you sneaking around and you go quickly go behind cover.
now, at times as you would expect he would go towards your position to investigate, in which case you can easily take him out.
another time, he will stand there and make a call, stating that he saw something suspicious in area xxyy. a few seconds after that, you can actually see another guard on the opposite side picking up his walkie talkie and confirming "zulu 4, acknowledged, moving in to investigate".
this guard will be moving in from the back or the side, effectively flanking you, while the guard in front who made the call will be investigating your position from the front with a flashlight.
also you can drive vehicles around the base without anyone sounding alarm right away, if you drive a jeep and come close to a guard, he will notice you are the enemy and call backup, if you drive a big truck, they wont recognize you as easily.
In an amazingly odd turn of events (not really ), the platform exclusive Jamais Vu / Deja Vu missions will be free to download on both platforms from the beginning of May...in Japan...so soon enough for the rest of the world too I guess.
doesn't really say much imo... you can't just compare size in a sensible matter between an open world that has a lot of 'nothing' around areas of interest and hand crafted levels lacking superflous elements.
but yeah, if nothing else, I guess it's a pretty large area
