Any new performance tweaks for PC version lately?
Game runs decent on my FX 8320 4.4Ghz and 280x, however I have to set LOD and shadows to high to maintain a good framerate in the city with of cars and shit going on. Textures on ultra, MHBAO, FXAA everything else ultra.

I suppose a Ubidelay might have been useful for once. |
They already had nine months and still fucked it up. Now, as you rightly said, people have already put up with the bullshit and long since moved on to other games.... but hey, Ubi are patching the game now! Blessed Ubi! Thank you!

Pseudocode AI fix:
Code: | IF lineofsight(enemy)=deadenemy
raisealarm=true
choosealternativeroute=true
assumeplayernearby=true
ENDIF
IF lineofsight(enemy)=possiblehidingspot(player)
facetowardshidingspot=true
cautionlevel=+1

Ubi, you're welcome - I'm open to possible employment opportunities, although of course I will be requiring a higher level of pay due to my enhanced logic skills.

An XML file injecting malicious code?
(Well if someone made a homemade installer for it but that's nothing I've seen.)

It's just Ubisoft being classy as always, they like to play the "PC malware/virus" card.

I've given up playing until a patch comes out, shit is maddening.
My vacation starts this weekend, when I come back I hope this game is fixed so I can play without stutters and crashing. A man can hope, right?

Hi UbiNeona, how are you today? <3 How's W_D working out for you? You know, the one with the nine month delay and the thoroughly broken release? Good? Well that's just swell!

I'm sure it does =) Perfect Ubisoft as always, perfect games, perfect company. Ain't that just swell? I guess we just come from two extremes.. you, who believe Ubi can do no wrong and that light shines out of their every orifice, and me? Just a little fed up of broken shit, lies, downgrades and other nonsense.

Even after applying registry fix, and using -disablepagefilecheck, game still runs like shit on all medium even. God forbid I enter a car and try to drive somewhere.
My safe bet is only a bike, lol.

If you use a 3GB GPU or less (Yeah wow, such VRAM optimization no? We're starting to see more GPU's using 3GB and higher and there's already games exceeding that. - But apparently on 4K and ultra you'd need ~6GB via a Titan so this game is a "little" bit special.) try lowering texture quality since that should free up a lot of ram, on very high resolutions on a GPU with a "small" amount of VRAM you might even have to turn it down fully.
Hopefully Ubisoft can improve this at least somewhat and ideally deal with any current memory leaks in the process.
EDIT: I do wonder how GTA V will compare, Max Payne 3 ran pretty good but it's not the same type of game.
(Compare in both memory usage and performance to how the game looks like visually, I doubt Rockstar would want to get the same flak for it as Ubisoft so it should hopefully be good but I'd guess PS4 or XBO is lead and current consoles are the main target platform compared to PC, maybe Nvidia can help a bit if they are working with them like that GeForce.com article on the game kinda hints at.)

I used RELOADED+Hotfix, completed the game, then applied DLC.Unlocker-RELOADED. Never applied any other p2p crack or any file manipulation.
3 of the DLC missions appeared, but not the Exclusive Missions pack (CTRL, ALT, DEL, SHUTDOWN). I understand they are playstation exclusive, but it seems they work for others here. I see the pack marked as unlocked under the extra menu too. Any idea why they don't appear on my map? Is it because I already completed the game?

"Thank you dear Kaltern for your submission. We greatly appreciate your feedback and are committed to listening to our customers in order to build the most compelling entertainment experience we can.
The tweaks you highlighted have been reviewed and tested by our team of experts inside our advanced primates tech lab in Montreuil. However, we are afraid to assert that, while the new AI system looks extremely noteworthy and innovative , its feasibility is sadly very dubious.
Not only such revolutionizing changes would alienate our affectionate core audience, but they would also force the whole team to reach disruptive compromises, due to our incredibly advanced framework already using the 98.6% of the new consoles' processing power.
As a sign of respect for your dedication, we are glad to offer you an exclusive 5% discount code, uPlay-redeemable, valid for the brand new upcoming Assassins Creed Comet for the PC and Nintendo 3DS.
Best regards,
Yves Guillemot"
