Pretty much this. After playing for an hour or so, im 100% sure i'm skipping this. Might isodemo for the SP story, but this is a no buy for me.
The weapon feel is bad, the gfx are not BF3 or 4 level, the animations are bad, the vehicle handling is bad. It's a step back in every way from BF3, BF4, and even Bad Company 2.
The Heist mode is pretty great when it works, and I don't quite get the moddy feel, but so far it does pale in comparison to BF4 in sheer amount of content it offers. For the same price you get so much more from Battlefield then what you get from this.
I don't mean just the game modes, but the whole gameplay element - a CQ match is a huge sandbox where anything can happen. Hardline is intense and has some great and crazy moments, but it's still more focused, which also makes it "smaller".
They obviously want to use the Battlefield brand to attract more attention to the game, but that same brand is what's undermining it.
Then again, it works for CoD and they are asking the same money for it, and if I had to choose between the two, I'd go with Hardline...
Overall, I think it's shooter fatigue that's dampening the excitement. I am still playing BF4 regularly and while Hardline feels different to me, it's still not different enough to feel "fresh" or new.
so played a bit and as expected, most of the crying baby comments were really taken out of nowhere (i.e. randomly made up i guess).
Let's look at some :
"It looks like Bf4"
- No it doesn't. I didn't noticed any assets of bf4 so far.
- It doesn't look like "Shanghai".
- It looks more like a comic, tbh. It's like Team fortress had sex with battlefield or something. Too much color. Weird. Not a big fan.

- Have you even played the game ? The animations in hardline look ... damn they look cheap. It looks like the spy from team fortress or something. Models move weirdly, chunky , spastic ... also they run slow as hell and what the fuck is going on here.
"Bf 4.x"
- This one i actually consider too stupid to answer, since every version of bf is a mod of it's predecessor anyway (it seems, if you ask the people). But to make you happy, here is why no : like i already said ; it doesn't look like bf4, it doesn't feel like bf4 and if you remove the name "Battlefield", there is basically nothing left to remind me of "Battlefield". (And yeah, that's a bad thing).

The delusions are strong with this one. Still can't figure out if ultimate BF/DICE fanboy or troll.
It reminds me of the BF4 thread where I mentioned it'd need months of patching as it was a buggy mess. Of course he threw a fit as I had insulted his beloved. Many months (and many patches) later he was even complaining about it when it was obvious from the start with the *ridiculous* amount of bugs it had.
Give him a few weeks or months when his troll status starts to dwindle and he'll be preaching whatever bullshit gets him attention again.
No no, the game was fine except for the servers. And he wasn't whining, he was voicing his concerns about how the game needed <insert random minuscule thing here> (which is comepletely different than being a "cry-babby") but other then that everything was ace.
So, finally had a chance to play for a short while yesterday, and I am not at all impressed right now, then again I only played for about 10 minutes before calling it quits.
I didn't really understand wtf was going on, I just took the money and ran lol.

Managed to get in using the expired link. Laggy mess, especially with my system, but quite fun, not for full price through. Maybe with 20-25 maps and more modes.
