I Was browsing at Ebgames today and I saw a game I wanted to look up when I got home..needless to say much shopping later and arriving home I've forgotten the name.
It was a WWII game, and I recall the box saying something about "controlling up to 340 units" and taking control of up to 120 vehicles. It didn't look like it was made by a major publishers/developer, but it look reasonable...it did support multiplayer. I'm not sure if it was just FPS or an RTS/FPS combo type game.

nope, its not that, I would have remembered that. This one from the screenshots definitely had a 3rd person view, but at the same time it was mentioning controlling 340 units, so I got the impression it was maybe an RTS where you could step into control of a unit

Yeah it was in store.. I'll try the website and see if anything jumps out at me.

I played it and found it to be utter shit.
