Anyone worked out whats up with this low memory error

Just burn it on cd with Alcohol 120% and mode: Safedisc 2/3 and then you don't need compatiblity mode so no low memory error.

Are you sure of this??

Did you try to burn it without safedisc 2/3 before and it didnt work? Because for some people it works with no hassle and for others they have to use compatibility....

I doubt burning in that mode will make any difference, but correct me if I'm wrong.

First I tried burn it with normal safedisc and that didn't work by mine pc(by a friend it work strangely but with comp mode winnt, he have XP). Then I burned it with safedisc 2/3 and it works with Windows XP but not with other Windows so comp mode in XP doesn't work either. So if you have XP burn it with Safedisc 2/3 and don't use comp mode. My English is not very good, I hope you understand what I typed. Smile. Good Luck.

I found this on another forum I hope it helps

i found a way to get it to work on windows 2000. Its not ideal but its not that much hassle either, I guess this will work for other safedisc 4.60 games too (quake 4)

Anyway goto device manager find your real cd/dvd drive and right click disable it ( you can enable it again without rebooting). Game runs fine then mounted with daemon tools.

Hope this helps.

PablitoCA - I posted earlier regarding Windows 2000: I managed to make it work on Windows 2000 SP4: you must disable all your CD/DVD drives from control panel except the virtual one, mount the image with Daemon Tools 3.47 without any emulation enabled, use the VirtualCDHide tool and after all this the game starts. I have installed the 6.01 patch before doing all this. I hope a no-cd crack will be out soon to fix all this because I don't want to do this over and over again.

There is no need to fuck around with any shortcuts, you can untick the full screen from the prefrences screen and the game wuill start in a window.

This all goes to show how different each and every PC is. What worls for one, doesn't work for others.

Anyway I would just like to add that I un-mounted the image in d-tools and it still worked as long as compatibilty mode was on. IAs soon as I turned it off, i was asked for the Disc.

Also I too must be one of the lucky ones as I have just burned to CD using Alcohol 120 using safedisc 2/3 and the game works also ( i confirm compatibilty mode was OFF and image was not mounted when i tried this ) Smile

Depends on what resolution u use for Windows. I believe 1024x768 or higher disables windowed mode for FM.

Me too can't get this to work, and I have a question to make,
There's these instructions I've read, saying that I needed to unrar the mds, mdf files, change the fm.exe's compatibillity mode to Windows NT 4.0 (Service Pack 5), mount the mini-image with daemon tools and make sure i renamed the driver's name or somthing like that. Then I'll be able to play.
The problem is I got no clue what that whole driver renaming part means, so I ignored that and continued with the instructions. I still can't get the game to work.
Is that my problem? Or maybe the fact that my game is an English version of Football Manager 2006 while the mini-images are from a German version of the game Confused

Please help! thx,
pstt

Edit: I've burned the mini-image I mounted with Nero into a CD and tryed to play with it, but still, no reaction made by the game:(

Waffen-SS do you have this problem also?

Gizzie the game runs fine for me, not even once did I run into the low memory error.
Its beyong me why none of you can get it to work or cant get it to work anymore, all I did was set it to compability mode NT/SP5 and I dont even need to mount it to DT.

I patched the game with the official SI patch and the game runs great, absolutly no problems nor errors, as you can see from the picture Im on season 2 (2006).

Ok, now a mod can ban me again now .... I just wanted to help Gizzie to solve his issue.

how did u get these rad bars for arsenal
