It would but I don't think my wife would appreciate that And who said anything about whacking off? Honestly, all I'm saying is why give players this kind of limited freedom? Rockstar (GTA) doesn't do it. The Sims doesn't do it. It's basically Lionhead saying "Here, were giving you this great game that lets you make any movies you want...except the ones we find morally offensive". It's a total pissoff. I don't care if they have to censor it ala The Sims, but give me the freedom to make a spoof of Indecent Proposal or Basic Instinct. Otherwise, why bother?

You will not be able to make softcore porn or excessive gore movies. Basically you will just be able to choose from a long list of animations already created. You cannot make your own animations. I've been itchin' to play this game for a long time now. While my expectations aren't too astronomical because of the Molyneux Factor that others have mentioned earlier (prosmising too much, delivering too little), I still can't wait for this game and I pray they didn't fuck it up.

I did that kind of stuff with 3dmm as well.. it was awesome shit. Using "L"'s as guns and red spheres as blood. It was just fucking awesome.
I hope that The Movies will at least be as good as 3dmm.
