Stupid frauds! All their fault I can't play... getting investigated right when I was going to pledge and then afterwards not giving me the opportunity! FRAUDS!
When you guys search the online mode, everytime i search it there is never more then 3 games for online, hope there's more when the game actually comes out of it will be a disappointment for me .

Wow the game can look really bad at times. Those shots in the link are just terrible. Looks like a ps3 game (even worse, and no i don't mean textures or car models) at higher res /w AA.
Yeah, the screenshots there look pretty bland well at least I know how it looks live on my PC, I am not worried a bit about the graphics quality on the screenshots
24 Hours of Le Mans <3
Used to play the Endurance Series mod for rFactor a lot back in the day, it was a blast.
Hope they can finish everything before the release date, considering that there's also the meaty and promising Career mode which is a mystery. Time to get to work men, the clock is ticking!

My settings (my specs are in my sig)
(the 25hz is just displayed wrong, TV is at 60Hz also the textures were at medium. With the latest build the visual settings are reset everytime >:O )
Thunderstorm is a heavy hitter on FPS but driving in rain is so much fun, except for when you are pushing the pedal to the metal on 5th gear at 200+ and you suddenly lose grip because the water built up under your tire
Here is the link, but I guess that the video is still uploading...
Pump where did you get that? some kind of backers early access or something?
btw what is the best looking racing game on pc right now that was already releases/avaliable to download? i can only think about grid 2 and maybe nfs rivals, is there anything else?
I have pre alpha access since 2012, payed 25 euro to get in with the option to get the full game for 20euro extra. Well I saw that it was great already and payed the 20 euro to have the team member + status. Since then I was able to get weekly updates and now (since~1 year) it basically switched to daily updates

Best looking - NFS Shift 2. But if we are talking only from graphics. If the driving is essential too, situation changes drastically

Not really, as long as you install some mods
Shift 1+2 overall are still the best overall experience (pCARS aside obviously) once modded. The controls require fiddling to get right, but so does pCARS. And that mostly boils down to the fact that they let you control how things change as you go faster (speed sensitivity = key).
As much as I love my true sims, Shift with mods get very close in the realism department and in the visual department it just blows them all out of the water. The sense of speed in particular is something they got 100% right, which a lot of games fail at.
That said, between Assetto Corsa and pCARS I've got nothing to complain as to what's coming to us. pCARS' career stuff is also going to be pretty damn good by the looks of things and I think it'll be the benchmark for a long time.
Driveclub in the meantime has 0 sense of speed, looks very floaty in videos and runs at 30 FPS to boot which won't help either. I'll still try my PS+ version once that's out and hope that I'm wrong, but the hype and excitement I had for it last year have been replaced by skepticism
I got to agree on that, sense of speed is in most games not that great but with Shift I felt right at home. Wish they could get it like that in the F1 games or a decent Karting game like that.
Motion blur looks horrible outside the car, it's a little different when using cockpit/helmet cam
Just make sure to force some AA (last I checked worked fine via control panels on both GPU vendors). I'm sure someone's done some crazyass SweetFX preset somewhere too, I'm not a fan of these but if it's your cup of tea you'll surely find them on NoGrip
Rivals beats shift in every aspect. Especially when it comes to weather/day+night cycle.
It's also closer to the old NFS's as in, you don't just run around a boring track , it's got all the varying environments you'd want (snowy mountains/desert/dense forests etc).
@Werelds i don't see why you're talking about floaty/30fps etc etc . I simply mentioned visuals and nothing about gameplay. If you want a sim then sure go ahead and play PCars. If you want visuals though, not so much, driveclub has it beat in every aspect (AA/Resolution aside).
