If they do that by the end of the sale for TF2 keys all the trading (or, rather, tf2 key value in means of trading) will collapse haha.
Oh god, this will be quite a sight. The biggest move from Valve against trading (even though original target are bots) since region locks addition. Buy all your cheap games for keys before 30 I say.

I seriously doubt they'll apply it to Keys. There's too much risk of fraudulent/scammed keys being bought, traded away, then having everything reversed. As it stands now, smart buyers can check the steam profile rep of sellers, as an extra step against buying cheap stolen keys.

They will. All the same items will be eventually tranfered to new system, because they are, well, the same.
Old system will stay only for Dota/Tf2 cosmetics (ie unique). It is not a matter of guessing "if/not", it WILL be done. Just not yet known when.
UPD: all traders cashing out on keys, it begins.

Exactly, who gives a shit that it's grouped now? I only see this as an easier way to trade, I *hated* the old overview, it was always unclear how many items were sold for a certain price and I always had to check for prices. Now I can just create a buy order for a key of 1,7€ and someday someone will put it down for that price. So much easier.

I mean the Russians just sell the keys on market to get steam wallet back, and they always sell at lowest price, and people always buy at the cheapest price, so what exactly has changed?
