That was so undeserved, horrible game from our side (despite the fact that there was in fact a missed foul in the first half) Sad

Amazing shot by Sneijder, retarded way to finish the game by Robben. I said it before though, our defence is really, really weak.

Mexico should've won this, Ochoa also deserve a bloody medal Sad

Not my probem you are blind, 2 players kicked him without touching the ball first. While the 1st one was arguable, because the contact was light, the 2nd one was clearly a foul.

I guess all is fair in love and war and football is war. That penalty was not deserved though IMO and Nalo that Mexican guy wasn't hit. It was dangerous play though.

Completely agree, but anyway, Mexico doesn't lose the match because of that unjustified penalty, they lose it when retreating with still over 30 minutes left in the match. I mean you're playing against the team with potentially the best attacking trio in this World Cup? If anything, by law of probabilities you're going to receive a goal, and I think we all saw it coming Wink

Also, Netherlands didn't play a bad match, they played today the way they have been playing during the whole tournament. And that's the way it has to be cause their defense is very weak (but this was known way before the World Cup started), and Mexico left that very clear today, even though they didn't take advantage of their multiple occasions.

Mexico fucked up by playing defensively already in the 60th minute against an attacking powerhouse like The Netherlands. Dive or no dive, Robben was still man of the match. The guy was everywhere all the time. He's like a fucking duracell bunny on speed.

Anyway, Robben is a very intelligent player. He did what he had to do to get his team past this round. Just like Suarez did in 2010 against Ghana, just not out of intelligence but out of bold craziness Laughing

Very much this. Poor Mexico though. Ochoa deserved more... and to think he's currently unemployed!

I wouldn't say intelligent, but he sure as hell is a sly motherfucker. Razz In an ideal world, using such expedients shouldn't be allowed, but this is fifaball. That said, I agree that he's always the best player for his team (or at least the one with more determination, and that is an important quality indeed).

To me once again Memphis (Depay) impressed the hell out of me. He didn't get to do that much today, but the guy clearly loves football with every fibre in his body. Pretty sure we'll see a lot more of him in the future Very Happy

Overall though? Kuyt. He ran nearly 11 km during the match, incredibly well played. And that in a position that's really not his strongest.

Is he really? Neutral

Dude's got fucking cat like reflexes, how the heck is he unemployed?
