really? Lego city undercover? Didnt even think about that one.
btw. Had some time to play some Mario kart yesterday and today, and well this game kicks ass! Had some buddys over yesterday and we played 4p versus, its been a long time since I've had so much fun with a mp game...

what would people recommend, pikmin 3 or super Mario brother 3? As a part of the mk8 promo I can download a free game and these seem like the best two.
I'm hoping to play with others but my only concern is that I will get Mario 3d world which might make smb a bit redundant?

If it's between pikmin3 and smb3, pikmin 3 all the way. It's a $50 game.
Mario Bros 3 you can emulate on PC for free, or purchase pretty cheap on the Nintendo store.

Cannot fathom how people aren't tired as shit of mario games by now. They're spewing them out like crazy, and next to nothing new for each game. I can't handle playing more than an hour at a time at most.

For the most part, I agree.
I am a massive Mario fan but the Mario Bros U series has stunk of cashcow bullshit from the start.
I hear the new Super Mario 3d World Wii:U game is much better and introduces loads of new, original, gameplay elements.
Nintendo need to take stock of what people are saying - stop cashcowing Mario and do something new, akin to Mario 64 and Mario Galaxy, the last two new and original Mario games.

I found Mario 3d world much better than Mario Galaxy because it mixes Mario 64 and good old 2d Mario elements...
The NSMB Serie is nice too, the 2D gameplay is the same ever since the NDS game, but it is different than the old snes / nes Mario games and that's good enough for me.
I finished every NSMB Game released and I had a blast for all of them, nothing beats 2d Mario gameplay.
I wouldn't say no to a NSMB equivalent from Sony or MS but we all know it will never ever happen...

No no !
Mario 3D world >> all simply because this is the only 3D Mario game supporting coop and it s a blast. Having to play The galaxy games solo makes it really weird now.
