Has this texture problem been solved with the latest update (v1.0.53)?
I am still on the 1.0.51 version.

Well in that thread a Larian developer posted that it would be solved in today's update, which was 1.0.53.0

So I've just spent the past few hours compiling the definitive OST for myself - of the 256 files in the /Sounds directory, a whopping 145 of them are actual music/melodies.
Just curious, if anyone owns the official OST from Kickstarter, how many tracks are included? I've got a feeling they're shortchanging people.
Here is a listing of the tracks that are actually music, with the ambient/town/nature sounds filtered out.....
http://pastebin.com/gahB7dWE
For those curious, you have to convert the .wem files to .ogg, and then .ogg to MP3 if you prefer - there's no way to go straight from .wem to MP3 to my knowledge.
I have to say, this is one of the finest game OST's I have heard in a very long time. Superb!

Man, 22 tracks? That's it?! Like I said, there are 145 actual music tracks (we're talking major tracks several minutes in length each). It came out to just under a gig for me when I converted the .ogg's to .mp3's at 320kbps CBR.
Thanks for the info though, now I'll know not to waste $10 on the "official" OST, although to be honest I think they deserve my money anyway!

No, no, you must have misunderstood me Sabin.
I actually went into my Divinity Original Sin\Data\Public\Main\Assets\Sound folder and manually converted all of the files in there to MP3, then went through and listened to each one myself to pick out the ones that were not music. There's 145 musical tracks in D:OS (hell, there's close to 20 ones I recognized just from battle).

Also read somewhere that D:OS in-game music is mix of OST from previous divinity games so that might be it.

It's all good partner The soundtrack is still fantastic because Kirill's music is fantastic full stop I could be completely wrong of course, I honestly don't know which tracks were composed specifically for D:OS and which are rereleases, unreleased work, remixes, etc .. and, again, it could be the whole "we'll pick XX of the tracks we think are the best for an OST" - just like other movie/game OSTs. We oh so rarely get the full score Either way, you can find out more at 4:28 on the vid above
You really, super really, should go and play Divine and DKS though, they're incredible

I am truly in love with this game. It's been a long time since I've been unable to stop playing after a few hours, I can't seem to do long sessions anymore (must be old age ).
One stupid thing that irritates me though, character switching during barter doesn't switch the char being compared. So if you start trading with one char, switch to another with the arrows, the items are still being compared to teh first char. So I have to exit trade and enter again with the char I want to compare shit. Very irritating.
Spoilery question about first lead leading you out of town.

I had a go with a friend but I think this is one of those games where you really need voice because the idiot set me on fire, then almost electrocuted me, set off a mine when I was standing right next to it and basically did nothing the game asked him to do. The lockpick tutorial ended with him whacking the chest for ages - he then complained his weapon broke a while later (the lockpick chest takes a TON of hits) <.<
Oh and, he wanted to be a ranger but didn't want to do any crafting *facepalms* didn't stop him picking up all crafting items.

Man that ehm, "ruins of cyseal" boss fight is nuts -.- think i'll level up some more before trying that again.
My ranger felt really good the first few levels but now she just feels sort of weak, hoping it'll pick up a bit again. Played knight/cleric at first which was a REALLY bad idea, three melee was just impossible .. Playing knight/ranger now which seems alright combined with the wiz & warrior, mostly cause i refused to go double wiz, played the game a little now and some of the synergy it would have in my head would make it too easy.
So awesome though, hard to stop playing

anyone else feeling they get slightly underleveled? in the middle of the second area and everything is pretty much higher level than me at all times. First area always had places which fit your level pretty precisely.

When i got the deeper grasp of combat and 2 more npcs everything seems almost too easy, bigger fights went with no problems on a 1st try, I`m not even trying really, just normal play.
I think that oldschool rpg players who enjoyed mods making bg1/2 harder and using that icewind dale uber difficulty mode will need to put this on hard from the start, or after getting that initial idea of how combat and skills work in this game.

A lot of people seem to be having problems with certain combinations of characters. I think this is the game's main weakness - the fact that only certain combinations of classes work well. I expect patches or mods to tweak this, though. I love rangers but so many people are saying they become shit later on so I'm worried.

I experienced the opposite - once my ranger henchman got ranged charm and ranged mute (combined with the melee stun/melee charm she already had) she has become indispensable to the party.

From what I have seen no classes are shit, its just different playstyle, tho mage and warrior will be definitely easier than rouge and ranger early on (and by early I mean those first zombie packs around the town)

actually i'm finding the ranger quite lacking of use... except for the special arrows, i don't see much use for the moment in my lvl 7 omni-wizard, warrior, rogue party.
some tips?
