EVERYONE will qualify for the European Championship as UEFA increased the teams from 16 to 24, first two in every group will go to the Euro and no way Italy will not be in the first two. |

No, it's Wilmots who got this band together and got them this far. I think it's more a matter of inexperience+pressure than anything else.

I suspect we'll see a lot more from them in 2 years
De Bruyne has consistently been a joy to watch, that dude's got some crazy stamina, quick as hell too. Kompany is great, he grew throughout the tournament.
In fact, I think most of the line-up is pretty darn solid. There's a few weaker spots here and there but overall it's pretty solid. I do think they need to use Mertens more and for some reason they always gravitate towards the center of the pitch. Flanks go unused a lot, despite the fact that they have De Bruyne and potentially Mertens to shine there.

Aye, nerves and afraid of Messi. You could see it on the first 5 minutes. It's a very young group so it's to be expected when you come that far.
Now we got some more experience which will do us good for the Euro Cup.
I also like to see Mertens play a bit more, love that player!
And yup the center thing is following us for years now, mostly because we never had great wingers and they seem to forget that we do have them now

I was just joking around before, but you know what, I wouldn't be so sure about that.  We won't have a coach and a FIGC president till September, most of the players in the actual team are either too old or hate each other, there are no young talents if we exclude Verratti and the quality of football in Serie A has decreased enormously in the last 5 years.
We need a revolution and a solid grand plan, just like Belgium had and applied with good results, but...it's not easy at all. We'll see I guess.
And please Netherlands, avenge us tonight |
