nothing to be angry about, you have specialists in team, Krul read every one of those penalties...

Yeah, he's either the coolest guy ever or he's really aware of his shitness at saving penalties
Spoiler: | (I would have gotten angry ) |
|
He was really angry though. He didn't know about it. Apologized (Dutch) afterwards for getting angry at the staff and kicking a water bag.
Glad we won the penalties though... We feared the worst here with The Netherlands' track record on those..

So now we've got to face '78 and potentially '74 after that
We got rid of '10 already, let's hope that trend continues

Re watched Vlaar's foul versus Ureña (98"). We were lucky there.
Also really didn't like Krul intimidating the Costa Rica players.
I think it is bad sportsmanship. So hopefully they are more convincing against Argentina.

Bwah, you have a really good chance against Argentina. The thing we did wrong was not enough pressure on them and we weren't precise in passing and it was mostly because we were a bit too afraid of Messi and the gang. We missed experience.
Dutch team has the quality and experience, Argentina's fitness is a concern since they looked pretty dead around 70 minutes against us. So if you can pressure them and have them run the entire time, as in don't fall behind so they can't play their defense game you'll do fine.
Messi can always be a problem, but that is widely known so

The Netherlands have a good change, yes. Argentina has a bad defense and their keeper is no big deal.
Germany is also very motivated and confident, from what I saw in the interviews, while Brazil is having morale issues without Neymar... it's really hard to make a guess.

Germany Vs. Argentina is my guess.
Germany to win outright.
Cue Germany loosing 7-0

I think it will be BRA vs NED
I still dont trust brazilian team but despite neymar and silva are out, we are at home.
lets see , anyway this is a very nice world cup, with 4 great teams fighting for the 1st place.

Okay, it would still be funny if I am right, right?
Let's discard the story as fantasy then.
And yeah I am pretty sure that most of the people can't recall things from 2001.

Whatever happens, for me Robben is the best player of this WC.
And Germany has the best collective play for now.

Yep I agree. Robben really showed that he's the best of the entire Dutch squad during the last match against Costa Rica. He was the only one that really made things difficult for them throughout the match and whenever he had the ball. IMO Messi is usually a better player than Robben is, but he's showed less of his quality this WC.
Van Persie is yet again showing nothing of his quality this WC. He kept getting caught offside time and time again. One amazing header does not make a great player... In 2010 and 2012 he was also kept in the field throughout the tournament without living up to his name, while Huntelaar was amazing whenever the coach finally decided to sub him in...
As for Germany... I fear they'll again be the ones to beat us in the finals... They're definitely showing more promise as a team to win it than we are up until now.

Robben has really gotten better with age, like fine wine. He's always been an immense talent, but now he knows exactly when it's time to perform a dribble without causing annoying numerical superiority scenarios for his team, and he can measure out the stamina more wisely than some years ago (resulting with him looking "fresh" even in the last 10-15 minutes, when defenders are more vulnerable). Also, he knows all the shady tricks of the trade
He could already be a national hero, if only Casillas hadn't pulled off that lucky "no-look-heel-of-god" save back in 2010 . Hope you guys can win this one, you'd deserve it more than anyone else.
