Seems i sold a quest item by accident (letter for a woman in Silverglen)
Possible to somehow cheat it or do i need to talk to all the people i sold things to? Laughing

That's one complaint from me: Quest items should have a seperate tab in your inventory so you don't sell, drop or destroy those by accident

edit: everything is alright again my friends, found it at one vendor Very Happy

I think what Ramalan means is that the game is pretty difficult without a mage. I'm playing a Range/Rogue and Battlemage combo, and (so far) it's working out fine.

There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.

Got some questions for you guys;)

1) Can I play multiplayer game with my single player character?

2) If I'm playing with a friend and my PC is hosting the game then where is his character saved?

3) What would you say are the most important talents in the game regardless of class?

4) Are social skills important (charm etc) ? It's just I don't feel like taking one in the beginning Wink

5) Any unlimited money source?

cheers

1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB

1) yes
2) on his pc/steam (when it's back on anyway)
3) summon pet, charm, crowd control (stun etc) are very useful.
4)not really. You play how you see fit. That's what roleplaying is all about
5) selling loot in itself is quite enough, imho.

Some kind of melee and wizard seems like the best mix, in 1st town you can add 2h warrior and air/ice wiz to the team (his skills kinda sux compared to fire/oil + tele mix), if you know where to find them its like 5 min into the game. That 2hand warrior npc is quite good as a typical melee so you might wanna experiment with other melee/range class for one of your chars. I still would suggest to check the "classes" (there are no classes in this game, you can choose the knight class, click customize button and make a great mage with that, only difference will be starting equipment). Also dont spend the points as soon as you level up + check avaliable books and buy/steal/obtain them in some other way Smile

Those smelly pants, it says dex 10/10, does that mean a character with 8 in dex will have 10 or that you have to have 10 in dex to use them?

Is there any items that boost abilities very high, where it dosent matter that you had 7 in strength before (like Gauntles of ogre strength in BG).

Durability 10/10 meaning they are in good shape. Smile
(There's a guitar item as well with 1/1 durability, doesn't always break immediately but I guess it's some reference to smashing guitars against things.)

I think items bonuses stack and you do gain bonuses for higher stats and attributes, character attributes cap at 15 but can go higher via items or perks and skills cap at 5 but can also be boosted higher and still have a effect. Smile

Ya sorry not sure why I cant distinguish between dexterity and durability Embarassed Thanks neighbour.

Maybe I just need to actually start this game, have been in analysis paralysis at the character screen for 2 days now Laughing

ranger/rogue i.e. ranged/melee isn't a good combo imho. You'll waste a lot of points in order to max both weapons (l1 =1 , l2 = 2 , l3 = 3, l4= 4 that's a total of 10 points x2 to get both to level 4)

Thats obvious. If you are going for a mix then you do a mix, not max all possible stuff. I would go for ranged bows/crossbows with some skills from scoundrel like haste/invisibility and possible other from higher levels. Skills/talents synergy is crucial, obviously maxing both weapon choices wont make a good well rounded character.

My chars are level 13 now. Haven't tried crafting yet. Wonder how useful that is.

It's very useful for my ranger char, I can create a lot of custom arrows. I haven't been able to do much else though, I guess I'm too stupid to get those vague recipes Sad

You don't have to go for daggers at all if you make a ranger/rogue combo. There are useful skills for a bowman in the scoundrel skills.

i hardly use them and i find tons of them. i have a wayfarer (i think that's it) who heals, summons a spider and uses mainly richochet and some kinda burst single nuke. She also charms.

If you redeemed the code it will be on a bottled message on the beach next to the first waypoint towards Ishmashell.

The trunks and goblet will be in the inventory on one of the characters, items are added retroactively since they had some issues getting the DLC to work but it was solved in the previous patch and the items showed up in the inventory without having to start a new game. Smile

EDIT: Backer created items seem to be random drops along and other stuff like say tombstone inscriptions are placed around the world so you'll have to explore to find those.

Pet Pal is pretty neat but it does take up a perk point you could have used for something immediately beneficial.

On your Machine, the second player just takes control of your second char (even if he created/customized it at the start)

kinda strange.. I don't like when it's done this way.. I wonder if it is possible somehow to share characters.

Best thing about spells is that you won't damage the durability of your weapons, the same *should* also apply to ranged weapons like bow/crossbow.

You get quite a few indestructible weapons which are very good for bashing chests. One of them is a guaranteed drop from the Lighthouse boss in Cyseal. Just keep it around for chest/door bashing.

This game seriously needs some progression locks so that you can't do stuff completely out of order.
