anyone still got a eu guest key?
gf away for a week and before i reinstall wow i thought i will test this out first.
are there guest keys for elder scrolls online?
I have the same question as the guy above me. I'd really like to try this out, but I really can't afford blowing 40 euros on something I won't play longer than a week. Anybody have an EU guest pass? I'd even be willing to pay like 2 euros for the trouble if necessary.
Thanks a bunch.
Edit: Got one! Thanks Sabbathiel!

Try Wildstar section on MMORPG.com lot more people there so more chance in getting one.
Usually they are quite helpful when you ask for gift keys on there.
i wonder when people will start make an assumptions about game after trying it for real and i mean not for 2-3 hours. This game is not boring, not by a long shot - u just need to get to the raids point. And yeah u can't reach that in couple hours in any MMO

Well here's the thing... some people have been playing MMO's for a decade or two... And recently (with the big wow bang) everything became stale. Things like Wildstar or other streamlined MMO's don't appeal to me (us) anymore.
Most of them feel like: Been there, done that, did it... I'd be ok with some familiarity if it were more complex systems but most of the time it's as shallow as can be.
Nowadays I can tell which will interest me and which will not just by reading up on them and Wildstar is not one of them.
Raids... come on WoW already capitalized on that and that won't be a convincing selling point for most of us (jaded) old timers.
In the past 10 years of various MMO releases I heard a lot of: You just need to get to endgame/this level/dungeons/groups... To me that's already a sign of bad design.
So good that there are people enjoying these, but I think people can say this is boring tripe without even playing it.
I rather play my buggy SWG (which I do at times) than this.
Maybe in a couple of years they'll take risks again in MMO design (and no FFA loot is not the answer ).

sorry dude, but every fail mmo have those excuses :
wait to get to raids/maxlevel/ to have fun.
and
why you are complaining, wow 10 years ago had only 2 raids and 5 dungeon aswell.
ah, and almost forgot about : "it is only a beta, the finished version will be 100000% better."
i dont want to wait 1 month to be able to have fun.
i dint had fun in beta, i dint have fun in those hours of guest pass.
is a pass for me. dont get me wrong is not a bad game by it self. is a bad game because of aaa price + monthly sub vs what is offering. and is not offering to much for the price, same recycled crap with a bit of polish. what is new is way to little. gw2 model would be okish for it.

I played more than 2-3 hours, I gave it like 15, until I got bored to tears, really.
Don't treat us like children, we know pretty damn well, what we like, and why. And Wildstar, for me, and many of us, is the epitope of been there, done that. There is no innovation, nothing new in the game.
This game fails on almost all fronts. Races, classes, gameplay, abilities, animations, graphics. I'm just not masochistic enough to value new dungeon mechanics and AI over all the things i mentioned
I wanted to love it though.. hey look new mmorpg, original classes, this esper of mine can get cool.. and so on.. it just doesnt. It got some sense of adventure that wears off fast and thats it
While everyone can have their own opinion, but u can't deny that this game is above average MMO these days. It's not my opinion solely - look at metacritic.com, mmorpg.com websites. There u can see lot's of proffesional or amateur points of view. This game would never reach average score of 80 if it was so empty, boring and dull. Don't ge me wrong - u can bash this game if u don't like it (it's everyones right to do that).
As it was said in this proffesional review - "WildStar is a polished, content rich experience that theme park MMO fans will go gaga over. But that doesn’t mean it will be loved by all."
And Carbine did somewhat new - this game is either very liked or very disliked. There is no middle ground.
As for sub model... it's basicaly f2p allready cause u can extend ur playtime by buying 1 month sub for ingame money which isn't hard to obtain.

Um its only easy to obtain right now because the system has not settled with the money situation and people dont realise they are undervaluing it by miles.
Ill give u example:
At the start of the game people hammered to 50 not just for level but to get to lvl and also have control of the tier 5 mining areas first hand before economy took a shit.
there was credd available for 3-4 plat then eventually it went up to around 6, not sure what it is now probably 10 if I had to take a guess.
you could earn 2 plat in 20 mins of only hard mining tier 5 nodes. So those that had 12hrs spare and those that started to use teleport bots on the noded while asleep were easily making a years sub in 12hrs.
I have to lol really In no fucking way could this of been what carbine intended.

I'm in the middle ground
I liked it, got my stalker to 50, did some pvp, crafted tiered goods, and got gold medals from several adventures. I liked it, but not enough to keep me playing anymore.
Actually Eugenic is the only guild in EU succeeded killing this boss for now.
that is probably because people are not geared enough for this boss.
from my part, you could have posted that in wow topic and at the first glance without paying to much atention i would have said that is wow.
Because this is WoW (wannabe) - and that is the reason it will fail. Like all WoW clones to date.
When will developers understand, if people want to play WoW, they will play WoW. If they make a WoW like game, people will come in like content locusts, eat the content up, then go back to WoW after 1-2 months.
I just refuse to pay for any game, that keeps the MMO genre stale. And Wildstar keeps it very stale. Fuckem, imho.

So, first time one of my accounts gets hacked/compromised in all those years.
My account for this game was suspended some days ago. At first i was like "what".
After writing to the support i got access to my account again after some days. Well and all items got sold and/or transferred away
I still wonder how the fuck they got access to my NCsoft account. As i normally am cautious with the infos i give away on strange sites.
Well, nevermind. That hack was a good reason for me to stop with this game and wait for the next "big" MMORPG

Never used the authenticator eh?
Never had problem since starting the game with lost account nada.. When you start a fresh mmo one should open a fresh gmail account ( or other ) and not use an old one thats been in circulation from other games
Then one applies the 2 step authentication offered by ncsoft/carbine to double secure the login. Nobody can get the authenticator codes as they change every min on a crypted keyed app on ur smartphone. Don't have a smartphone? what time do u live in bro
Wanted to use that authenticator at first, but to be honest i never thought something like that would happen to me and i couldn't be arsed to open the app everytime i logged in (which was very often in the beginning)
But since some time now i use unique passwords for all the important things and to organise them i use Keepass

Same thing happened to me awhile ago. Got an email saying I had been banned for illegal activities, even though I hadn't logged into the game in two weeks. I didn't even bother trying to dispute it since I wasn't planning on ever playing it again.
I did notice a big thread on their forum about a large ban wave and that some people might've been accidentally caught in it, so you and I may not have been hacked at all. In which case the only "illegal activity" I can think of was that I used SweetFX, and the game might've detected it as a cheat.
