I played the first few levels on isodemo & bought it on steam afterwards, didn't have to copy/move files anywhere, everything was intact and usable.

Anyone managed to get the game running on laptop with dedicated Nvidia GPU?, even with patches it still forces the shitty intel integrated which results in max 30fps @ 1366x768 medium settings. FPS wise its enough for this kind of game, but the resolution looks like shit on 1080p IPS panel (1080p runs like 15-20fps on the integrated shit, should run easily 30 fps+ with GT750M with +150core/300mem OC). Other than that, this game is really a masterpiece compared to all derp games these days.

Try this:
In the nvidia control panel, select the "Desktop" menu at the very top and make sure that "Add 'Run with graphics processor' to Context Menu" is checked.
Make a desktop shortcut for "EoCApp.exe".
Right click on that shortcut, and in the target field, you should see something like:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Divinity - Original Sin\Shipping\EoCApp.exe"
Append a -launch operator at the end of this line. It should now read:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Divinity - Original Sin\Shipping\EoCApp.exe" -launch <--------
To play the game with your nvidia GPU instead of shitty Intel HD, right click on that shortcut, select the "Run with graphics processor ->" menu, and select "High-performance NVIDIA processor."

Even if you force your GT750M from your nvidia control panel ?
Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D settings > Program Settings > Add Divinity Original Sin exe if is not on the list and under CUDA GPUs only sellect GT750M
Also make sure your laptop is put on High Performance Mode
I hope this basic shit helped !
Or what's above !
out of sig inspiration for the moment

Try the Scroll seller chick in the market place area with the tents and such. Should be east of the rooster getting his picture painted, literally a few feet from that.

hm i think i encountered a game breaking bug.
I don't get any gold anymore. And can't transfer either. When i sell something, i don't get any gold. Same if i transfer gold from one char to another, it simply vanishes ...
edit : well, it seems it is limited to rodrick. I can't sell items with him or transfer gold to him ... bug i guess, unless i am (in game) cursed oO ?

After numerous rerolls and whatnot, i've decided to go with only two characters...cleric and mage (lone wolves, glass cannon later on). Cleric would be melee guy and a healer and mage would have all other schools (geo, pyro and aero).
1. Does anyone know if a mage gets a spell to unlock doors (something like thief's lockpick) so i dont have to level lockpicking skills on any of my characters?
2. Also, is there a vendor in the first city that has a lot of gold so i can actually sell my stuff and not trade them for other things?
3. Is it possible to mess up a quest? For example...
Spoiler: | 1. I saved that orc chick that was under the influence of a love potion and later on got a quest from an elf to bring him an amulet from that same orc girl. When i got back to her again, two guys guarding her were dead and she was gone.
2. Also, in the harbor warehouse, i talked to those two guys and got them into a verbal argument and their commander moved from guarding the door to stop the fight. Later on, i figured i could use unlock magic to unlock the door commander dude was guarding but now i cant make him to leave the door and when i talk to those two guards again they tell me something along "you already did enough damage....get lost" |

1. Lockpicking is bad. Keep lockpicking gear with you and use when you want to open chests/doors or just bang with your weapon.
2. I think Conrad has lot of gold. I always sell my items there. Check near ship.
3.
Spoiler: | She is at the library (above Cecil's room?). You can kill or win an argument and get the amulet.
No idea about that. I killed the commander and guards to check the loot. |
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

For the guards in the warehouse you can do a persuasion mini-game by talking to the captain about the door.
