you can get an actual steam gift for 15-18 bucks, why risk with more expensive keys.

What!?

Please show me how to do that.

Is that sum for all new steam games or just sin? Can I "pay" for these steamgift instead of trading?

Thanks

All games (as long as they are not locked). Also, some of them take Paypal, so yea, you can pay directly.

The gist of it, I used skrill(former moneybookers) to buy 8tf2 keys for $1.75 per key from this ruski seller that doesn't accept paypal. its really the same as paypal, just not as widespread in some countries add your cc, send money to traders account, receive keys.. I added another tod I had left over (tour of duty tickets count as half a key), since i could find lowest price on tf2outpost at 8.5 keys.

8.5 tf2 keys x $1.75 per key =$14.87

I then bought the game from a russian trader at the above price. an actual steam gift with completely traceable origin, unlike cd keys Whirling cane

I won't post profile links of traders involved, but you can PM me if you want it.

Did the same at first, then i kinda realised "hmm, wonder if i should go back and try with one ore instead" and it worked.
There's fuckloads of tenebrium for steal and some random during questline tho, plus i'm sure there has to be more around to mine, i wouldn't worry too much.

Eh wait, you can upgrade ranged weapons with just a bowstring? Thought it was only used to create bows Laughing

Same here, haha, I thought it was just for creation - bows or crossbows really - it was a nice surprise to find out you could "upgrade" with it Smile

So how do you upgrade your weapons? You just drag one over the other? Like drag bowstring over a bow, and if you have blacksmithing skill high enough it just combines? Smile

Yeah it's the same drag & drop mechanic. Smile
(Either nothing happens which means your skill was not high enough or it'll prompt for the creation of a improved weapon.)

Is there any vendor that sells bowstrings? Very Happy I've been kind of ignoring the crafting wholeheartedly because I didn't need it.

Pearl boosts value of the item (more gold)
Rubies give + all elemental resists

After 25 hours of playing I figure I might write down my feelings about this game.

Generally, I love the game. There's a lot of stuff to find, a lot of exploration, great combat - this is Divine Divinity with less focus on quick combat and more on tactics.

However, there's quite a long list of niggling flaws which stop it from being perfect:

- dialog trees are copy pasted for nearly every NPCs which sucks as I've said above. I prefer unique dialog with generic NPCs besides that

- the game is far too random when it comes to loot. It's 100% randomized which can make you feel like you've been cheated when you keep finding crap you can't use.

- stores don't replenish often enough to my taste

- the camera angle lock can be frustrating

- inventory quickly becomes a huge ugly monster with far too many items to easily keep track of. There aren't enough containers to help you sort your items either.

- the world is pretty compact in size - it could have been a bit bigger for my taste because now everything is crammed together

- not all items are highlighted when you press ALT

Many small flaws like this pop up now and then but it's still a brilliant game.

yeah, especially the inventory is a real mess. They could really improve on that one. Especially crafting is more of a chore then anything as it stands now.

I'd like to have a proper crafting window for example. Which let's you craft with whatever ingredients and tools you have AND the recipes you have.

Also quest items should be in a separate inventory and shouldn't be possible to sell or drop (and lose).

You can easily turn off that camera lock in options (tho supposedly it can cause some glitching, I didnt see any of that so far)

I concur - they need to make tabs:

- crafting
- books, scrolls, pages, etc.
- quest items
- crap for selling (paintings, etc.)
- weapons, armor & arrows
- food
- everything else

Or they need to let you buy more bags - coloured ones.
