Ok I watched episode 3 and have no clue why it was called 'two boats and a helicopter'. Very specific charactercentric episode thought. I liked it.

I was impressed by the first episode, underwhelmed by the second, and the third was actually very good, though I'm not sure how it is moving the story forward. I'd say to early to tell. I surely hope it's not only about those that are left behind, because I think that will become boring quickly. The mystery is the thing that keeps me watching.

First episode, a bit intriguing though pretentious. Second, mostly boring, Third, quite good. I will just keep watching and hopefully I'll know if it goes nowhere (doing honor to the Lindelof) sooner than later.

what was wrong with them?  the only thing that was wrong imho is how cowardly, totally unlike HBO, the party was depicted. They should learn a thing or two from Larry Clark as I've mentioned already

Weird series, but I want to keep watching it just to see what is going to happen next. I am not sure I like it, but I am completely mesmerized by it. Show makes me feel weird and uneasy

The first thing that comes to mind is an old joke about a man refusing different means of help and then complaining to god that he didn't save him despite him believing.. And god replies something like " what's wrong with you? I sent you two boats and a helicopter!" I don't exactly remember the details

When he went to the psychiatrist there was a stuffed penguin, so most likely: him braking down was a win for insanity. Then again if we want to know the real meaning we'll have to hear from the show writers I guess.
