What Marvel claim to have wanted to do with Thorina: gender diversity, empower women through a strong female lead, who women can identify with. Also, to sell comics to teenage girls.
What they actually achieved: new fap material for 13 year old boys.

This Thorina business sums up 21st century gender activism in a nutshell: clueless people, jump on the new trendy liberal bandwagon. They do it not in the name of bringing happiness to women, or LGBTQ people or anyone. They do it in the name of a shallowly understood ideology. They are SOSHULJASTISEWARRIOURS! - the new white knights of the internet. Saving bored middle-class white people one facebook like at a time.
And worst, truly worst of all is this feminist reframing of history. What the actual fuck?! This goes agains science, but they don't care!
White men were building oppressive patriarchies consciously just to subjugate women, according to feminists, since the hunter and gatherer times.
For these feminists, liberation and empowerement is achieved by having casual sex with everyone and their uncles and then some. For some of these feminists having a fucking ABORTION is an act of rebellion against the patriarchy, and as such should be practiced ... what the actual fuck? WHAT ABOUT THE RIGHT TO LIFE OF UNBORN CHILDREN? Nah, that's not as important as SOSHULJASTISEWARRIOURING!
I just went on a rant here. Seriously, I know of few ideologies as harmful to human beings, as modern day feminism. And this is why bored and stupid people are dangerous.

You just summed up basically every ideology when its taken too far. I'd write the same thing about some vegans....
