not entirely true. In Poland: You can download movies, mp3s media and shit and you can't get charged. It's different with software ( games, programs): it's illegal and you can get charged.

I agree, though how much is ~200 US dollars in Poland anyway, probably not enough of a profit to build a case out of or how to say. 
(To Polish people? To Poles??, do you call Polish people Poles in the first place??? - Actually I think it's Pollacks - Polacker in Swedish - or some such term, I probably spelt it wrong but auto-correct in the browser didn't complain.)
(Prosecuting some lone individual won't really give much either way unless as stated above he's sharing tons of data - or selling, that usually gets them really active - so they can sue to tons of money or however it works in today's media industry.) |
yeah, they won't because there's too many people, it's costs too much and it's very hard to prove. It's the case led by the prosecutors office i'm afraid of, I can get summoned to testify or get my pcs/hard drives taken.

I think it's when you admit to it that you could have a problem, because then the law firm doesn't need to find evidence of your guilt as you have given it to them, easy win in court. Just bin the letters.

Nothing happened yet.
I'm visiting a polish forum about law where people talk about their experiences. Some people were summoned to the police stations to got questioned but that's it.
When people are going to start getting raided I'll be warned thanks to internet.
Besides I've encrypted the shit out of all of my partitions so they can't do shit besides taking my computers for 6months - 1 year.
