For the last four days I have a sore throat. Everything I eat, drink or swallow bloody hurts. Usually you notice the pain gets less after a couple of days but for me it's still the same fucking pain. I tried almost everything, warm water with salt, Strepsils, Tea with honey, etc. Nothing helps. Now I'm just taking painkillers and Iburprofen to make it somewhat bearable for a couple of hours, but they don't help for the night. So I barely sleep of it aswell...fuck this.

+1 for the doctor, usually the pain never lasts more than 3-4 days and it's better if you get that checked. |

A sore throat is the worst, I can handle being sick, headaches, sinus infections, but a sore throat always bring the bitch out in me.
You can get some of that throat spray that numbs everything, but that usually sucks just as bad.

Fuck doctors.
Mix some (good, preferrably cold-pressed) coconut oil with some bicarbonate powder and gurgle that shit for 3-5 minutes, then swallow once, and hold it and let it "run" down the throat.
I use bicarbonate and coconut oil for a lot of shit, best house-remedy for almost everything. Oh, for and for wounds I use honey. You'll be surprised with how much quicker a wound heals if you rub some honey in it.
Yes, yes I'm back.

For sore throats and pain killers you are better off doing this..
Buy some dissolvable (wtf is that word classed as not spelt correctly?) aspirin and gargle that for a while. Make sure you don't dilute it a ton. Instant relief.

Yea, yea. I know what are you thinking but warm water with salt, root with honey. Nothing helps even after 2-4 weeks.
I don't get sore throat that often but when I do it's a fucking disaster.
What's even more messed up, it usually happens around end of Spring and start of Summer. It has been like that for past maybe 4-6 years.

I'm going to call the doctor in two hours, that's when they open. Hopefully they give me antibiotics, because they don't do that so easily anymore.

sounds to me like you have quinsy ... angina ropna
painkillers will do shit ... they only will make things worse in the long run , they make you numb and even help the bacterial infection to spreed faster
so what will help ...
Nimesil - its a pain killer designed for quinsy .... every 8h one
Tantum Forte - its will be also prescribed as a combo with nimesil ... every 8h three sprays
vitamin c 1000mg tablets ... every 4 h one
and Antibiotics ...every 8h one
Cure will take from 2 weeks , nimesil + tantum will ease the pain and help you eat , Vitamin C will help you fight the infection , Antibiotics will kill the bacteria [and will make your throat go bloat ] ... yes you will lose your voice for 2 weeks but after that your cured ...
go to a doctor right away for your Antibiotics prescription !!! , if not then you can die from it or if you will have it for too long it will course a heart disease in a long run ... and could lead to a heart attack
and be ready to eat like a BABY ... for 2 weeks ... so only yogurts , mash things , mixed in a mixer things ...

Tell them to take your blood and a sample. They prescribe antibiotics for every shit around here. Eating them for no purpose at all isn't good.

I got the antibiotics, he said I was a late with coming to him now. If the antibiotics works I should feel somewhat better by tomorrow.
