im sure rockstar will reallllyyy care enough to invest effort into protecting the pc version, lol

the only reason its not out yet on pc is that its sitting on a table somewhere and no one at rockstar has been bothered enough to get up and ship it off yet Aww Yeah

honestly, the only time anyone at rockstar gave half a shit about delivering quality to pc gamers, was when they released the max payne 3 port, and that pissed off the upper management SO much, that they shut the team down to send a message to everyone else at rockstar that they dont tolerate this kind of shit, remember? Cool Face

Unless it runs like drab, it's not like ports can't screw over good games right? Razz

Now opposed to the IV version, the V gets better stuff (textures, graphics overall) so there has to be SOME optimization at least Razz

Scratch Head IV also got better textures, as well as at least one new animation (SMG reload animation to be precise), also a new radio station (well, the usual mp3 custom radio station, but with DJ commentary), expanded multiplayer and the video editor.

I'm unlikely to install any mods for this game, since I will probably already be bored to tears with it the moment I finish its main story, just as was the case with GTA IV and any other GTA game really.

Indeed, for some reason all these open world games (the GTA series in particular) start of strong and provide tons of fun for the first few days, and then all of the all of the sudden become boring as all hell. I have yet to determine the cause for these weird happenings. Neutral

There's a lot of side stuff to do. And the story took me more than 24 hours. It's got a lot of content. Actual content, not watch_dogs-esque tower hunts and stuff. Also, the online is pretty great, dat online heists doe Laughing

That's all well and good, but I recall previous GTA games being filled with stuff to do as well. Nevertheless, I still started to lose interest about half way through. I finished the main story in all of them (well, starting with GTA3), but I remember always feeling glad it was over. Very Happy I couldn't get into Watch Dogs at all.

The only game of this type that kept me hooked all the way through was Mafia 1 (and Mafia 2 as well actually, even if the game disappointed me on so many levels), but that's mostly because I was so drawn into the story.

Still, will definitely try the ISOdemo, and then I'll see. Maybe it'll be different this time around, but I have my doubts. Razz

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if the PC version gets delayed for a short while after the PS4/XB.
