I bet you will all download it though, I know I will just to make sure the terrible review above is true or not. But it does seem to be pretty damn awful

I hope it is not close to that sugarsweet graphic and boring game.
But you're right with isodemo.

Shit the ps3 version is also iso demo.

It would be a shitty finishing touch to a cruel parody of sacred if the only mob who had to wait until release day for their yarr were those 'masters of IP subversion', PC users.

None of the xboxes round here have had their chips flashed for yonks so might as well grab ps3 n play that right away,
Since this game has obviously been designed for second to last gen consoles it makes sense to play it on that platform.

Hafta try the game cause as unhip as it is to own this sacred & scared 2 were fuckin good fun.
Knowing its gonna be a turd isn't enough - it will be necessary to experience the awfulness 1st hand.

Just tried the ps3 version The game appears to be designed for prepubescent middle school males.
I don't mind some consoled games as long as the story and the gameplay remain reasonably sophisticated yet straight forward enough so a grad diploma in the game's builds & skills is voluntary, not essential.

This isn't that game, a twenty something female manages to combine annoying & patronising while stating the bleeding obvious.

Just awful - two melees in and the tutor has managed to set my teeth on edge with her cloying commentary.

I closed the game & deleted it off the ps3 drive.

There is no reason to expect the PC release won't be exactly the same.

Strictly a button spammer.

Oh the pain! The kid up the road who has been an erstwhile partner for a month of me trying to perfect a Path of Exile marauder build,pre-ordered the thing a coupla weeks back.
He's just txted to say it has been delivered.

We had co-opped Sacred & Sacred 2 n had a good deal of fun so I spose he thought buying 3 was a no-brainer & didn't discuss it 1st.

I'm gonna have to play the thing, which I'm guessing means buying it, at least until the boredom factor hits him, cause he has been pretty tolerant of my POE indulgences.

That's a tough price to pay, you have all my sympathy. Razz I believe the expert buccaneers from the forum might be able to find a way to play co-op without buying the game and spare you some pain, but it's early to tell since it's unclear whether it uses tricky protections or not (not to mention the compatibility with legit copies which isn't guaranteed).

Yep it will depend on whether he comes here & uses my lappy which seems to play most rpg's sorta OK, getting it to work on a lan is likely straightforward enough, or, as is likely since he bought it he wants to do the whole internet thing. From previous experience, creating a virtual lan using tunngle or hamachi for the game & then getting some sort of verbal communication through xfire is just too much drama paying for the game is a lot less trouble in the long run.

Principles are getting so expensive nowadays

Calling this sacred 3 is ... i just can't ...

If you use a different developer, at least have the decency to change the name to reflect that.

I'm fine with them using the world that Ascaron created ... but not in this manner ...

yeah pretty much this , this is more of a gauntletish spinoff rather than sequel, kinda like Citatel is sidescrolling spinoff
. I would be fine with this with name like Sacred Arcade or Sacred Cjronicles or whatewer, but not as Sacred 3!

John was busy pwning mobs in Sacred during a speedrun when lightning struck and he got sucked into the world of Ancaria. With the expertise of John sealed into your weapon of choice, those Ashen troops stand no chance! This pack contains the exclusive Gamer weapon Spirit.

http://www.gamersgate.co.uk/DLC-SACRED3ZWS/sacred-3-z4ngr13f-weapon-spirit
(What's up with the inverted "Triforce" symbol?)

That must have been a community contest winner or something, weird.

EDIT:
http://www.gamersgate.co.uk/DLC-SACRED3UWS/sacred-3-underworld-story
Quote:

Venture into the Underworld through a newly-discovered portal and find the mysterious tower guarded by the Black Seraphim. This pack contains 4 all-new missions set in the Underworld of Ancaria.

Well there was a dark seraphim (Wasn't black though, well kinda. - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=207099033 ) in Sacred 2 so I guess this is still in-lore or how to say.

EDIT:
http://www.gamersgate.co.uk/DLC-SACRED3MP/sacred-3-malakhim-pack
Quote:

Play as Kython the Malakhim, a mysterious dark assassin from unknown origins. Use powerful blood magic to reinforce the resistance, and protect Ancaria. This pack contains Kython the Malakhim as a fully playable character.

Sounds like the "Vampiress" from Sacred 1 though male, perhaps a bit of Dark Elf too.
(Though the picture kinda looks like the Dragon Mage from Sacred 2 Ice & Blood albeit with hair. Razz )

@JBeckman well i am pretty sure there were some legends in S1 and S2 about some Malakhim as some assassin from Legends , not really sure how Black Seraphim fits to lore.

From now on - i am going to call this gamne Sacred: Legends sd i just cant say that number in connection with this spin-off
