I wasn't really excited at first. An apartment and actors ? Is that supposed to be scary ?

You get a one UV flashlight for group and wander in complete darkness.

I fucking shit myself. My girlfriend cried (I could feel her tears with my hand). Two of my friends (girls) shouted STOP to get out in the middle. They couldn't take it. I also thought of surrendering, I just wanted to get out of there.

The worst thing about it was that it wasn't a straight "go and get scared". You had to search for keys and codes to get through these god damned doors. You never knew what was in the next room.

There was a room with what we thought was a mannequin. A ring`esque girl with freakishly long hair. She was too short to be a real person. She just stood there in a corner covered with black hair. My friend approached her and she fucking moved.. Just a little bit. We had to open that fucking door but couldn't do it without a flashlight and we had to keep light on her because she approached us if we didn't. When we managed to open the door she went ape shit chasing us and screaming. Fuck.

tl;dr
if you get a chance to go to a scare house - just go, a lot of fun. Sweat, adrenaline, tears Smile

what's the best scare house you've been to ?
The on in disneyland paris is pretty good too.

London Dungeon was exceptionally good (and with nice cultural trivia and such during the visit, like Sweney Todd's barber shop where you are treated as a "customer" Very Happy ).

The "tunnel" in Madame Tussauds (also in London) was also decent.

So you said you shat your pants twice. Did you actually shit your pants?

Though i will never fathom how people get scared after entering a house in a fun park environment designed to scare you and is controlled by people, which you know very well.

I wouldn't want to work as an actor there. Wouldn't be surprised if some fists come flying towards their faces.

For me it's like watching a "scary movie", the fact that I know I'm safe, and that it's all fiction completely removes the "horror" for me. I might be like excited to see what happens, and there would probably be some suspense for me, but almost nothing that is based out of fiction scares me.

Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

Haha nice, never heard of that shit before... not sure if i have the guts Laughing

Though i had my real life horror experience a few days ago:

My gfs friend didnt contact her as agreed, and wasnt reachable for quite a time (as well as her daughter), which was "very" unusal. My gf wanted to drive to her appartment, but insisted to go alone. I called her when she was right at the door, knocking... she talked to me when suddenly she made a sound as if she got really scared, then i heard some weird sound and then the line was dead. Tried calling her again, but the phone was dead, couldnt even get into the mailbox...

I ran to my car and had about half of the way... i thought my heart was going to jump out of my chest... when she called me. Her GF was looking out of a window and that scared her and she unintentionally hung up.

I guess one of those experiences is enough for a lifetime Laughing

sounds awesome Very Happy

I only went to a cornfield maze with my friends. I wasn't scared at all but the girls were scared. there was even a thunderstorm that night, which made everything a little bit scarrier.

You can enter the maze around evening and it's once in a year for 2-3 days.

It's filled with actors, disguised as your favorite horror-movie character (zombies, chainsaw killers etc.), also some freaky stuff & etc.
