pls help...all I did was buy new case and power supply and applied liquid ultra thermal paste..and now my computer won't work...

I mean, everything powers on, fans, video card, h100, hard drives...but monitor stays black and cant get to bios..I removed all hdd's and memory and only have one hooked up and still nothing...

On the motherboard, I can see the error 00, which stands for "Not Used". I have no idea what that means and google is not being helpful. All I did was move stuff from one case to another :\

Check the pins, make sure it got fitted properly, check if the handle came loose while fitting the fan...

Make sure you didn't use too much thermal paste.

I know it's rather noobish advice, but usually when you are experienced it's those dumb little things that can cause this crap.
Bend my fricking pins once, of course not on the hundreds of pc's I handled at work, but on my own babeh! Laughing

There are two bent pins, been there long time ago...

anyway I found it what was wrong with it.

I tried the heatsink that came with the cpu(still had original thermal paste) and it booted to bios just fine.

ps, never buy this collaboratory liquid pro ultra bullshit Laughing Laughing Laughing
That shit is just pure shit.

oh well, looks like I will have to use this heatsink until i can order "regular" thermal paste and apply it to my h100

Stuff is amazing, if one knows how to apply it correctly Wink I use it mainly for IHS remove/replace, and not for standard heatsink application. Smile

Remove board from case, stand on a non conductive surface, remove PSU and do the same. Remove battery from MB for 2-5 mins, replace. Remove CPU and cooler, redo thermal compound, check heatsink and replace. Connect said components with one stick of RAM, HDD, mouse & keyboard, using onboard GPU if your board has one.

Power on outside of case, then if all works, start process of elimination Wink

Try alternative components that you know are working from another system on the board, PSU, RAM, HDD, GPU etc while out of case, if it still don't work, then your MB is fucked Smile
