game doesn't start until you beat the first few 'tutorial' stages, but they're extremely fun.
it's a proper 3d mario. really good. last stages are for pros only. don't feel bad if you don't make it.

The thing is, wiiu games may not appeal to everyone, but the games that are on there from 1st/2nd parties are top notch and deserve at least a chance.

The CODS with split screen gameplay are awesome sauces.
IT's not all about hoarding. Which is awesome cause ever since 3rd parties dropped the wiiu, you no longer get shit bug filled multiplats, and all you really get is a shit load of shit indie games with a few gold ones, and a whole bunch of 1st/2nd party wii u games that can carry the nintendo quality seal. So yeah you're hoarding, but it's like hoarding gourmet food at an all you can eat buffet. Just the good stuff. 
And whoever tells you that nintendoland is shit, has never played it with 5 people. That shit is fucking CRAY!

i bought WiiU and a few great exclusives that it has. money well spent. not sure why people need hack for this console so much, there aren't that many games to buy, and older ones are already pretty cheap...

Ok so I am getting a WiiU tomorrow and it has a few games with it, but maybe you could recommend me some, or make sure I am not missing something?
I am interested in those games:
Bayonetta 2
Super Mario 3d Land
New Super Mario Bros (I guess it also contains Luigi U?!)
Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze
Mario Kart 8
Anything else that is essential? (And already out. I know I want to get Yoshis Yarn)

Thanks. I was also wondering if the Amiibo figurines can be "hacked". Apparently it is just a NFC Chip, so basically it should be possible to copy the contents? Is there something around where you can send the data to another chip? Or did Nintendo actually do their homework with protection for once?

I did a bit of quick research and it didn't look like it'd been hacked yet, no. But I may be wrong

Well I just bought a Wii U today - Mario Maker bundle with amiibo and a nice art book for €300 which seemed like a good deal. Also bought Infinity 3 (version with 2 figures) + extra figure + Mario Kart 8 + Mario Party 10 for €450 in total which seems like a good deal.
I'm rather shocked at the absence of big titles, though. Good thing I mainly bought this for my nephew and with the games I bought now, he'll get enough fun out of it. For those who would like Bayonetta 2 - Amazon.de has it really cheap and I ordered it there. Probably will get Splatoon as well - anyone have any experience with that?

Not a Wii U or Nintendo hater because I own one but I have like 12 Wii U games and I can hardly think of any more I'd want to pirate, although I would love to pirate Fatal Frame V which is coming out DIGITAL ONLY in North America, thanks again Nintendo.

I happily pirated Yoshi Wooly world EUR because idiot Nintendo had it released back in June in Europe but October 16 th in the U.S. And because of region lock, I have to wait October 16th since my Wii U is US if I want to go legit.

About a week before the hack I just had to put in Smash Bros and update my Wii U to 5.5, do you think I'll be able to hack sooner or later?

Stay on 5.5.0, it's already hacked privately, but won't be leaked until Nintendo fixes it in a future firmware. Then it will be released.
