I'd like to drool too because of all those great memories, but I have a bad feeling about it.
Activision owns Sierra, and if it's really King's Quest, then it's gonna be a reboot™ remastered for the new generation of gamers:

So it sounds more like a retelling of KQ1 and 2 (maybe 5 as well) rather than a reboot.
1 and 2 are still amazing.

great games, but if anybody is able to understand german -> play the german versions of gabriel knight (especially 2) and phantasmagoria (which obviously arent available @steam and @gog not too). is sooo fucking bad that its great again
