I wish they'd put this on sale sometime for $20. Never got around to buying it for top dollar since I really don't have time to devote to the multi. The campaign was great in the 1st one though IMO.

as i said b4 i found it for 18euro almost 21$ if @ G2A. Just hoping to get a lower price cuz its not worth it yet.

Shows as $32 from the US. I assume the EU key is only for EU.. Can't find a US key for cheap.

New patch 2.1 is out. Essentially:

Quote:
* The entirety of the Arcade, along with all of the maps, mods, and games found within, has been made accessible to all StarCraft II: Starter Edition players for free.

* All Custom Games are now available to Starter Edition players.

* All three races have been unlocked for Starter Edition players.

* The original StarCraft and StarCraft: Brood War soundtracks have been re-mastered and made available for play in StarCraft II. Open the Options menu (F10), navigate to the Sound tab, and then locate the “Soundtrack” option to select which soundtrack from the dropdown list will play in-game.

The mod kit is pretty flexible, a while ago I tried out a remake of the first Diablo some team had created with it which worked surprisingly well, of course said team had ripped most of the sound and voice assets straight from the original game. Razz

Should be everything from custom maps to full conversions to remakes of popular arcade games.

So I got the free edition fully installed. The starter edition, I mean.

When I create a new game, why can't I select a map and it's always motherfucking Discord IV ?

EDIT: It seems you have to have some map selected, then press create game. And you can't change the map. Well, that's a retarded way to do it.

Prices are down to $20 each now. The game itself is far better game than D3 turned out to be, though I'm still pissed about the splitting into three (four years later and where is Legacy of the Void, hmm?).

How does one go about learning Starcraft II?

I never played anything but shooters competitively, it would be nice to try something different.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

Starcraft 2 is called Zerg/marine/zealot rush, if that doesnt work, have a steady supply of vespine and start making Tier 2, also you need a good APM to keep 2-3 bases to mine and supply you with vespine/minerals. Best way to do it is try to have two bases to keep your economy supply running, once you can handle the AI's rushing strategies you can take your game online...if you type GL HF and you see Korean characters, you're fucked, best GG and abort game LOL

Maybe they will announce something on blizzcon this year, what date is that, something in the fall? Anyway I've lost all interest in Starcraft over the years, would play that final chapter of campaign tho.

New expansion announced: Legacy of the Void
Going to be stand-alone, no need for any of the other SC2 versions.
