@Bob Barnsen Btw it looks like you can't give them DLC weapons. I tried giving a minigun to a girl who paints walls but she refused to take it.
1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB
2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)

Any idea why steam version doesn't have anything under dlc tab? Even in-game, the downloadable content tab is empty.
Regarding the combo unlocks, I think it's just to save time. You can explore & collect 105 blueprints to unlock everything or spend skill points and unlock them immediately.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Deleted the previous post, thinking about it I believe the DLC stuff won't be available until the game unlocks, which is later today.
(You might get it working if you use a VPN connection, or that's how it's worked for other Steam games.)

Nah, you'll still need to collect the blueprints. The combo category skills are for making the combo weapons with generic weapons of the same type (so any blunt weapon instead of for example sledgehammer), instead of needing the specific weapon that the recipe calls for.

So problems aside - what do people who usually like these zombie games think about it?
Im gonna play it tomorrow, but it would be nice to hear some feedback on the actual game (without the already discussed technical problems included)
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

I loved DR2+OTR on PC and i think this one is (at least) enjoyable too but the shoddy performance kills the fun

@Ankh
I haven't played much, but if it's *anything* like the previous two; it's going to be awesome. Technical shit is a shame but the game itself looks like it could be a blast .. and with the more-forgiving timer not crippling the enjoyment too.

But what about the timelimit? I know it was mentioned before - but does it spoil the game or do you have enough time to explore/have fun without any problems?
Anyone tried the coop part yet? I bought it for coop only.

As Sabin said, the timelimit is much more forgiving than in DR2 (and while it has created some frustration,i was fine with the timelimit in DR2),looks like you`re not that much under pressure this time. However, you still have to complete the game in a certain timeframe (6 or 7 ingame days).
Tried coop for a bit and it seems to work very well.I wasn`t able to damage my coop partners tho

I'm really liking it so far, almost done with Chapter 3 now. It's definitely easier than the first two games, but there's always the hardmode to tackle afterwards.

Just 9 levels to go. I can't believe how easy it is to level up. Btw is it true that if you play the DLC is wipes out your main game inventory (including the clothes) ?

By default, the game is locked to 30fps but fear not as an uncapped framerate is possible via external modifications. According to our contacts via Capcom Vancouver -
“Note that the game is capped at 30FPS but if you would like to mess with that, create a “user.ini” file which contains a single line: “gmpcr_unlock_frame_rate = True” (no quotes) and place it in the same folder as deadrising3.exe before running the game.”
It’s important to reiterate this as the message has been confusing. Using the .ini custom fix isn’t officially supported and may cause graphical issues or even gameplay problems. I tested this alteration at length to ensure players are aware of the optimization and fluidity prior to purchasing. Even though this workaround is available, hard locking a game to 30 fps on PC is completely unacceptable and creates a rift between the consumer and publisher. I was overjoyed to see that the .ini modification works brilliantly and didn’t encounter any graphical glitches or artifacting. The only minor issue is the sudden frame drops within cutscenes which often go from 48 to 23 and can be extremely jarring. Annoyingly, this only occurs when the .ini mod is enabled.

Not true. I'm not using the ini hack to remove the lock (simply because I can't even sustain 30 all the time, so the constant up and down would annoy the piss out of me) and the framerate takes a nosedive during cutscenes anyway.

Monitored RAM usage on a second display while playing the game. The game (deadrising3.exe) easily used 3GB alone while playing the game.
Even 8GB system ram total may be on the low side then with Windows coming on top of that.
Bought the game now to see if the crashing is only related to the various cracks of the game.
