Good to know. So no need to unlock those categories via points then for me. As i only get the weapons from the lockers Very Happy

Yeah it would've made much more sense without the magical weapon locker, but as is the skill points are better spent elsewhere.

They sure made the game darker, themes like necrophilia, organ trading and rape along with stuff like the collectible suicide scenes.
(Although most of it is usually with some humor involved, depending on how you see it I guess.)

I kinda like it though, a more brutal zombie survival experience.
(Though seeing a guy pulling out his intestines might not be for everyone.)

EDIT: Oh and the banana hammock is in this game as well, along with the usual assortment of weird fetish outfits.

The guy with the needle? Yeah I failed miserably the first time because I pressed the buttons too quickly so when it switched from the QTE mashing to pressing that final button (Randomized.) I failed it immediately since I was still pressing spacebar. Very Happy

EDIT: "Get in here boys, let's make it a gang-bang!" What the? Weird.

Screens of those two events.

If you are using Nvidia, thats the cause of the crashes I think. I am almost in the end and I never had a single crash.

I don't know then. I thought its something with the Nvidia crashes because in the forums the only people who report crashes were with Nvidia. Which is kinda surprising for me though. I was expecting tons of shit with my AMD Laughing

@sabin1981
well sli isnt optimus and it gives same crash Sad And i've never had single issue with optimus since i changed to win8.1, i guess there is something fishy with optimalization on all nvidia drivers including optimus and sli

If it is a Nvidia specific issue don't expect a driver update before Monday, Nvidia generally release their driver early in the week in order to be around for troubleshooting.

Game still crash on legit copy so it is not the crack at least. Unless using the same savegames have something to do with it.

@Bob Barnsen Btw it looks like you can't give them DLC weapons. I tried giving a minigun to a girl who paints walls but she refused to take it.

You can but they have to be more "normal". For example you can give them the shock M4 but you can't give them the minigun like you said.

Once you level up your Life attribute to a certain point, you unlock "Survivor Recovery" which brings them back to life. In my first playthrough, Anna (the first survivor you meet) died but after I got that Survivor Recovery perk or whatever you'd call it, she was selectable again. I think this was also the same attribute/perk that made it so that survivor's CAN'T die; when their health gets low, they automatically go back into the "safe zone".

Works retroactively as well, which is nice.

Been a running a grrl power posse myself, simply because the Smarts skill tree is way better than the Mechanic one. The follower AI's pretty derpy with pathfinding though, especially when they need to scale obstacles.

That explains. Smile I didn't unlock it yet.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Can you choose not to select that skill, or is it automatically unlocked once you get there?

I kind of like the idea of making AI's mortal. It'll add more tension/pressure to keep them alive. Also, if one of them annoys me, I can lead them to their (permanent) death Very Happy .

Played through the first couple of chapters and damn, despite the humongous amount of problems (no crashes though, quite surprisingly), I actually like the game. I find it more enjoyable than DR2, with more rewarding exploration overall, and generally the slightly more "serious" tone is also an improvement for me.

The story is still..well, our pretty standard zombie stuff with people doing stupid things, and weird characters popping out of nowhere. Nothing new under the sun Smile Laughing

The performance and the state of the 1:1 port itself in general however are a complete tragedy for such a standard-looking game. Okay
Ran some tests, the graphical settings barely affect the performance, it's indeed all tied to the internal rendering. Used the initial scene, with dozens of zombies visible at the same time:

 Spoiler:

Mouse controls are pretty sluggish too as expected, and the sound effects aren't exactly high-quality either. A truly pathetic attempt, and it's shame because the game itself is better than I expected, for some mindless brain-slashing action that is.
The awful port though won't prevent me from finishing the hell out of the ISO, that's for sure. Razz

huh, the game wasn't as bad as people led me to believe.

no crashes so far(only like an hour in or so) and runs alright even in incredibly dense areas(dat highway section in the beginning)... didn't have fps counter on but felt like a stable-ish 30fps though i definitely saw the dips when swinging at 5-10 zombies at a time.

first tried 720p because of my gpu and then bumped it up 1080p along with a few settings and still ran alright.

specs: 4790k, 8GB ram and 1GB 7850.
