66% off ~ $130 for everything didn't seem like a bad deal. Got 200+ hours out of it.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
I actually just grabbed a nice little all in one installer the other day (totaled to around 28gb if I'm not mistaken) of The Sims 3. I'm seriously considering delving back into it, as there really is fuck all to do in The Sims 4 after about 6 hours or so. No items, no locales, and the career paths are shallow as hell.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Wtf, I don't know if this is some sort of DRM but something happened to my guy. I totally forgot to work out so I got fat. Then I bought some gym equipment so I can get back to normal again but I can't loose my weight Now my guy is 100% muscular but 100% fat in the same time Like in GTA SA when you use trainer to get complete fat and complete muscular in the same time - fat body but muscular body texture
Gamespot reviewer said the same exact thing, that this felt like a graphics upgrade for The Sims 2. There are a lot of similarities in the game's design.
A big focus, quite evidently, was to make the game run on a wide range of computer systems. That's why there's so much loading. The different aspects of the community game, visiting other lots etc feel more fragmented than it feels like the same world now, because you aren't presented with a map of a physical town you have to travel in, just nodes of houses not placed anywhere geographically.
Naturally this approach makes it far easier for EA to add more expansion packs to the game, now that they don't have to physically fit a location anywhere, but just have it be one of many locations a sim can "teleport" (travel) to from his House zone. Once a new DLC arrives then they can add the "Hair-dresser" or "Zoo" or whatnot to the list of community lots and that'll be that.
if you get like "ts4. exe has stopped working error" at the very beginning it's because you have to install vcredist x64-x86 files in game's installer directory.
My first impression on the "create a sim" was very nice. It's kinda confusing choosing to modify a sim using your mouse at first.. but you get the hang of it and it works very nice.
After that comes the facepalms.
As everybody said, the 2d map is very ugly for a 2014 game.. and your lot is VERY empty, you see some sims passing thru (on the other side of the road, at least for me).. but no one stops at your lot (unlike sims 2).
Build mode is way better than the bugfest of the sims 3, and choosing the height of where u place the objects on the wall is a nice addition for the game
But overall, the world is empty. I mean, i can't have a dishwasher? Where is the thief (i didn't even find an alarm)?
Is there an actual working version yet? (yes I know some of you have got it working but neither of the 3DM cracks work for me)
Would like to know that too, if one can expect a better crack very soon? As i wanted to start this maybe tomorrow
But there still seem many problems like crashing or that Origin requirement
heh, the game works/ A newer crack, there was just another one released with the most current patch, and, well, it's the Sims. The game is buggy. You will crash, loading between places is hit or miss. If you stay in one area, you can game for hours.. When you want to leave a lot, or visit a place, you may or may not crash. Play it tonight, and you will see what I am saying. Otherwise, I"d say don't waste your time and wait a few years, when all the DLC is out. The wife and daughter like the create a sim thing, I laugh. That might be the best part of this shit show so far..

Thanks, guess i just try it out to see how it runs. Maybe i don't get any crashes
And i guess the newest update+crack is The.Sims.4.Update.1.and.Crack-3DM

Still placing the walls of my house since an hour now
So far the house builder really is well done i must say.
The character builder also was pretty nice with the selective editing, despite not much possibilites to customize other things
