Well, it's not a secret that graphics and tech in general in football games today is behind everything else (no excuse for it of course). That being said, this years FIFA is a real improvement over the cartoonish looking previous editions. And the day time lighting in particular looks very good.

Not sure yet about the night time lighting though, watched Pey's video, and as far as I know stadiums in europe aren't that dark on the pitch.

So I was able to play the game via this keyboard customizer tool, and its actually pretty good.

I want to buy it but I dont want to pay 59E for it, is buying via Mexican Origin really the cheapest way or is there anything cheaper ?

Thank you. J Browman

Last gen? When I saw that tshirt bending and folding in the replay my mind was blown a little bit. Obviously during normal game with camera zoomed out and so on you wont be able to see all that in full detail, anyway stadions and pitch, grass, crowd and many more - definitely a visual upgrade, cant imagine that on ps3.

...and then make it a PC exclusive... PS4 and especially Xbone can't handle more detailed crowd and player details. The game already has fps drops on Xbone (I haven't read any impressions on PS4 yet).
The game though is rather optimized on pc considering it runs at 60fps on my ancient rig. Btw I'm left with only 3gb ram as a module died a month ago.

yep, watched a xone review for the demo. had massive drops sometimes, horrible. but its a few weeks old code, so maybe they fixed it. tried ps4 demo to compare it to pc version, no slowdowns. but set pieces, replays are capped at 30fps

pc version runs smooth, 250fps @fullhd with high settings and 4xaa. 160fps @2880x1620 downsampling to fullhd, 8xCSAA etc.

Graphics look pretty ok to be but I would still prefer better physics with much less 'on rails' animations. Also lighning could be better to reduce 'plastic' look.

The only aspect that looks tied to the past is the models, which are approximative in terms of life-likeness. They're not quite there yet, in my opinion. The moving clothes are a nice touch, though. Getting a penalty because the slower defender decided to pull my shirt was quite cool to witness.

The lighting, and stadiums themselves with the full-3D crowd and grass are a huge improvement as well over the empty old arenas; nothing mind-blowing of course, but it's something that Fifa really needed. And finally the rain looks like proper rain, instead of those ugly white drops of bird poo. Razz

How can such a 'powerful' new console have fps drops on a fotsy game Laughing

Conflict between RTSS from MSI Afterburner and Origin Overlay. Disable any of those and it will work.

Anyone using ps3 pad? Is there any way to replace x360 gamepad notifications with ps3 one? Are they pulled off some kind of liberary (in directx for example) or does every developer makes their own? Im talking about those buttons A, B, X, Y and so on, would like to replace them with ps3 ones, if possible, in every game.

Im with 24 inch monitor 16:10, when i choose 1920x1200 resolution & full screen - the game starts in windowed mode !?? Why is that happening ?

Also lock to 60fps or no fps limit is the better performance option ?

don't know how it's in fifa 15 but i always had 60fps lock in 14 and it was the best option for me. got it on 15 on too so probably still the best. (for me)

press alt+enter and u will swtich to fullscreen

depends on your system, 60fps lock was fine in 14, but in 15 i get major stuttering, fixed when disabling the limit and using vsync to lock

alt+enter works as long as u dont use downsampling

I have major stuttering when I disable the fps limit. Neither RadeonPro or D3D overrider works with this one and forcing the vsync on does nothing. Go figure.
Locking on 60fps from the game's settings works fine. Problem is that I'm left with 3gb ram and I just ordered another 4gb so I hope to see further perfomance improvement.
