You surely didn't read every of my posts in the console section then if you think I think the PS4 is bullet-proof, same goes with the PS360.

I can say the same to you : your presence here is also a lot about complaining. Too lazy to read every of your posts in the GTA 5 section, but usually whenever there is a delay, or something wrong in a PC game, you always complain.

Not sure I'm as much complaining as you are here... (so much that by now I know that you are mostly pissed off at NVIDIA, their drivers, and some games not using SLI properly rendering your 2nd geforce sometimes unused).

But yeah, that's surely cuz of me right ? Neutral

EDIT : and you are quoting a post of the console section. You said you hated me for trolling in the PC section and NOT the console section. Yet when I troll in the console section (and explicitly say so), you are not happy either. It was meant to be a joke, chill out... Because I have much respect to the PC gamers here, I didn't post it in the PC section.

I doubt it's gonna be ported on OS X. GTA IV isn't even ported yet.

Technically it could be running fine, as long as it's a good port. Lately I tried Dirt Showdown on OS X.... One of the worst port ever. The game was running better on my old 2007 PC with my G92 than on my current iMac....

There is one thing I can say for sure : PC gamers are always complaining... Thanksfuly there isn't a Mac section in nfohump. That would be... hilarious.

PS : NVIDIA drivers on OSX don't support SLI Laughing

As opposed to : sometimes, the delay is here for a reason. Yes, usually even delayed games aren't perfect. But as I said before (but that you didn't read obviously), imagine how would have been the non delayed game, if the delayed one is not perfect ?

People are pissed about the delay and you come in calling them (and me) morons because we happen to think that maybe, just maybe, it has fuck all to do with "optimisations" (the general go-to excuse for shitbag developers) but rather more to do with piracy or maximising console sales by pushing back the cheaper SKU.

I have yet to see OS X using SLI. If the drivers are supporting it, then I guess OS X isn't then ?

Yes, both cards appear in system profiler, but I never ever encountered any app or game using both power. I'm curious why that is if the drivers do support it then. I assumed it didn't because of this.

Alright, let's end this conversation since you just found out why R* delayed the game on PC for almost 1.5 years.

So if I understood right : R* are sitting on the PC version for 1.5y just because of PC piracy.

Silly me. My mistake. That was obvious. And because PC piracy occurs during xmas (???) then they delayed it even more so they can skip Xmas.

That's fucking genius ! I wish I had thought of that myself.

Hey you know what, you should tell this to EA, so that they can delay FIFA 15 on PC to 2017. That way, FIFA PC piracy isn't gonna be a problem no more !!!

@Prefetian : thanks. Yes maybe. Never said it would be running in 1080p@60fps on shitty rigs. Never did. Ever. Only thing I said is : R* delayed it for a reason. And there is one thing I'm sure is the reason isn't because they want to piss off sabin.

Since I'm no R* employee, I have no idea why they are delaying it. But if they do, it's just because the game is currently not releasable.

Reasons could be multiple : optimisation (there I said it), bug fixes related to Windows (crashes and what not), bug fixes related to NVIDIA cards (after all, PS4/ONE use ATI), bug fixes related to Intel CPUs instructions (after all, they use AMD ones), Steam API issues, PC protection issues if they decide to go hardcore...




PS : wanna see the difference between me trolling and being serious : me trolling would have added as a reason : "higher resolution support, mouse support, and keyboard support" Cool Face

That being said, I'm sure higher resolutions isn't always that trivial to add because some stuff can show differently and not correctly in higher resolutions that the assets were designed for. And thus more testers need to be hired. You can't assume a game would work the same in 4K because it works fine in 720p.

PS2 : and just for you sabin, that love to read my posts in the console section, you obviously didn't see the one where I said I'd rather play Destiny on PC (if it does get released) rather than PS4, specially since the UI is actually quite mouse ready (it has a mouse cursor).

Ok bug fixes related to Cyrix CPUs then Laughing

Pandemonium needed a patch back then !

And Ubisoft had to add MMX support for Intel processors to make POD run better ! And add 3Dfx Voodoo (Glide) support later on !
