I am going to test this, if you are right then you can play multiplayer without any cracks and no image mounted at all, that would be great. Of course just valid cd key:) |
Dont bother testing. The deviance release has only a crack for SP. The MP is original, and i dont have the dvd in the bay/ So the mp exe is fully intact

Have a problem with the game, Im in the British campaign in Toujane Tunisia, its the mission where you are on foot after the tanks mission and its totally unplayable. The lag is horrible but didnt had any problem so far. Anyone encounter a frame drop in this mission?

Guys one thing that made preformance +10 FPS better for me was setting image quality to High Preformance in windows, guess its due to all the new smoke effects and stuff ^^
Of course it runs great in dx7 mode, thats like playing CoD1, no dx9 is the way to go =D

hey wow! A WW2 shooter! That's like...an awesome idea, I wonder why we haven't seen more games useing the WW2 theme. It just seem so natural you know?
....
SO anyway, aside from complete lack of any originality, how does this game compare to CoD1? I mean, I've had a pretty good tour of WW2...I've flown aircraft, I've stormed Omaha, Juno...heck probably all the beaches. I've kicked ass and took no prisoners as a russian. Honestly I think I participated in every known campaign in WW2. I shit Medals of Valor in the morning and Honour at night. What can this game -possibly- offer...???
i can has computar?!

The American campaign is awesome....u storm omaha beach, but like 3 miles west of it and u gotta climb up a rock face and take out these guns and shit....
Its like every other WW2, just wicked graphics and very dramatic/cinematic
Ive played every ww2 shooter out there and this one is the best imo...with cod1 and moh:pa coming in a close second.

You are basicaly right, but if you want to try out games using the latest graphics and sound etc this might still be a dam good canditate. I personaly tend to try out games for those reasons alone. HL2, FAR CRY etc etc. COD2 is for sure up there with alot of those mentioned, but still it is a WWII FPS shooter...but just the best out at the mo. Give it a try, nothing wrong with stoming in to Stalingrad...for the 101st time, but do it in style couse thats what COD2 is alll about, sleek and full of new eye candy.
I would recomend Forgotten Hope 2 when it comes, I know I know its a BF2 MOD but if you are in to WWII stuff online....well it wont get better then that.

Game is much smoother using dx7 as mentioned by others, and the differance isnt that much, considering you can use higher resolution and better textures etc.
Despite the sucky engine, this game is an absolute blast to play. So much going on around you, very intense battles. Miles better than the pos game that was Brothers in Arms where you had to cut down tree stumps in order for the allied troopers to land safely...

this game is missing:
Psychics.
Gore.
Good AI.
Apart from that it's ok but exactly the same as cod1 but with some bumpmaps with makes it run at half the fps of cod1
Well the mp should be decent anyway...

I HATE ACTVISION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
those lame-ass stupid mother fuckers, they should burn in hell why the being hanged upside down from the ceiling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
god! the demo worked just fine, but the full game? noooooooooooooo...! they felt that the story of the world war II is just isnt setisfing, so they decided that they must put some monster-kind graphic engine, so every one who want to play the game with the lowest settings on everything, would need to upgrade his computer in something like 700 jazilion dolar.
god. i so fucking hate them.

It's always been that way. Would you prefer technology to stand still or be given the opportunity to get better and better hardware?
