Has Valve done any tweaks to card drops lately? 5 hours of Wasteland 2 and only 3 of 8 drops.

I think the dev has full control over card drop rate etc. Path of Exile for example only awards "card drops" for ingame purchases.

That's only because it's a free to play game, it was the same with TF2 as well; if you had the f2p version and not the prior pay-for, the cards would only drop if you paid a certain amount in the store. It's not individual as far as I know.

From the card FAQ;

Quote:
"Card drops in free to play games are rewards for spending money in game.

(Approximately $9.00 USD per card drop)"

6.1 hours. 0 cards dropped so far. Laughing Sad

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Maybe they kill off Greenlight and go to a self-publishing model which was hinted at some time ago.

Doubt it.

Everything is slower.

Nope, you cannot set the droprate.

Greenlight will be killed off, but a week ago they said they don't know when yet and will continue to use Greenlight so I doubt this will happen right now. It's Valve though so probably someone wants to change this today whereas the other 99% of Valve has no clue Laughing

Then how come in some games it goes slower and some games faster? Valve decides it?

oooh i know what this is... big news for devs? clearly its auto region locking for ALL games now, unless a dev fills in a 27 page agreement contract and OPTS out of it.

its coming. prepare thyself.

Look through the reviews Laughing
All reviews with Not Recommended and then a ton of hours played.

Not Recommended
3,434.9 hrs on record

Not Recommended
967.0 hrs on record
I really wanted to recommend this one... I really wanted.
But I can't.

Maybe they are reviews for the new 2015 version. As far as I can tell the devs just upgrade the same app over and over again for free, so that is why the reviewers have so many hours but don't like the new version?

EA's bought Valve, closing Steam. Moving everything over to Origin. No, you can't redeem your old keys. Have to rebuy everything.

Or, seriously, it's the start of the curated store-fronts, with this one being EA games.

Edit:

Quote:

origin /generally/ means no CDN
serving directly from the home webserver instead of from whatever cdn is geographically closest to the client since it’s the origin of all the content
