The rumor is it's an Attila the Hun game, possibly a standalone expansion for Rome 2. This is based on the fact that a new novel is coming out in a few months called Total War: Sword of Attila.

I'd go for that, it's an interesting time period.

Someone said it's likely Attila:Total War or Rome: Total War - Barbarian Invasion II, because of the horse archer logo.

Wat.
It's been the official TW logo ever since Shogun 1. That's no indication of what kind of game it'll be.
It might just turn out to be Warhammer after all -- just look at those two tiny letter parts peeking out from under the black foil. Could be a 'W' and an 'R'...
Or 'Alexander'.

Aaw yeah, that will be hilarious watching those try to battle. They could name it: Total War: Special battle.

"Creative" Assembly should all serve time in prison for Rome 2. We have you on camera lying about the game, they stole money on purpose, fully aware of the craptastic state of their game. Creative Assembly cares nothing about fans nor does the company have any spark of professional pride left so in their complacency they allow themselves to release game after game in this hilarious state. No quality assurance, testing or innovation whatso ever, Rome 2 was a -new- standard of low even for Creative Assembly with a negative evolution across all aspects of gameplay; and yes players even found traces of console preparation in the code. Now its rinse and repeat time. Have your asses and wallets ready.
I'm sure they've been working on this next full-priced game for an entire month! That is far more time than they put into Rome 2 and now we're surely in for a fun, well-polished treat we can re-visit again in 10 years and think "oh man that was a great game they don't make games like they used to!". Right.

"Stole"
What's the difference between them and KickStarter craps? Or pay-more-for-betas, like Project Cars and Elite Dangerous?
I am not happy about how Rome turned out initially, but come on.

i still dont get all the butthurt about Rome 2 Even with its flaws it was muh better game than majority of mainstream production nowadays
Yeah it was released in crapy state , but nothing new in case of TW games ,some of previous games was in worse state (Shogun2 was technical unstable mess on launch). And now the EE is pretty great game - not the one some of us dreamed of, but great game if a bit different than some expectations.

Way to accept and encourage mediocrity, folks. In my opinion Creative Assembly has to up their game, and that's putting it mildly.

Where is the accepting and encouraging?
Haven't seen anyone talk of throwing money at it so far.
