Jokes aside, I was a bit skeptical at first, but now that I've gathered enough informations/confirmations about the game and most of my concerns have disappeared, I'm very much looking forward to playing it. 
We will be needing some new pants, but that's not a problem  |

Just watched about 1 hour of streaming
God the graphics and arts are GORGEOUS!
I really LOVE that retro sci-fi UI and hacking device and all that!

There is a creature relying on it's hearing sense 3-5 meters away from you and you are walking around. What could possibly go wrong? 
And yeah they are fast. They were in the first AvP game.
Aliens don't have eyes lol I thought you knew it. They rely on other senses as in hearing stuff. That's why u need to hold your breath if it's close to a closet where you are hiding.

How do you know it's garbage, uh? I watched the stream for 1-2 hours and so far it's the best alien game out there hands down. I dunno whether it gets bad afterwards but what I saw is really impressive and as close to the original movie as it could ever get.

Looking a the 6:30 time-stamp in that video review I can see where the frustrating part comes from. What happens there isn't fair or - I dare to say - plausible. There's no way the alien can be THAT fast. Well, unless he teleports. 
It's like a game system that randomly(?) punishes you for not playing the game "the way you should", as in, probably sneaking all the time.
What a cheap move.

but the bottom of the page writes :
